My mother has advanced arthritis & still has a pair of lace shoes that fit & she likes. These made an easy conversion to valcro & she can now wear the shoes again.
The only thing which was a minor problem is that the nylon ties used are white & the valcro strips are black for black shoes. I used a magic marker to make them blend in.
