"Spiritual! Spiritual! is a real surprise. Many people complained that the last B-tribe CD ("Sensual Sensual") was too "ambient" and did not have the flavor of the first two releases (Spanish chants and some cool groove). The new CD is about as ambient as you can get! Synthesizer and Spanish guitar mixed with a few indistinct female sounds, one Celtic female vocal track, and some piano make up the bulk of this release.

The Brave, the producer/performer/writer of B-Tribe (as well as Sacred Spirit, Indigo Spirit, etc.) has released what is surely his most ambient work ever with this CD. The entire CD reminds me of the "Intro" passages of B-Tribes first three recordings (if you are familiar with these, I think you know what I mean). There won't be any dance remixes for this CD I assure you.

If you are lucky enough to own a copy of "Divine Works" (with "Ancient Person of My Heart"), another beautifully ambient recording, and enjoy that CD, you will like this as well (I love everything he releases).

The track "She Moves Through The Fair" is a beautiful reprisal of "Fiesta Fatal" with ethereal female vocals combining a traditional Irish tune with the great melody of "Fiesta Fatal". The last track, "The Sun", samples Bob Marley's "Sun is Shining".

If you like the idea of quiet, beautiful flamenco guitar with lush synthesizer backgrounds and gentle rhythms, it doesn't get any better than this CD!

To sum up, I will say that this CD is a disappointment and a delight. I was hoping for up-tempo, yelling Spaniards but I got one of the most relaxing, Spanish influenced recordings of all time. This CD, therefore, is highly recommended for intimate situations but please, do not operate heavy machinery while listening!

OK, I don't like Falmenco and/or Gypsy music very much, but B Tribe has always been innovative and cross-genre enough to remain very interesting and great to listen to. This CD is a marvelous selection of a variety of kind of "nouveau-spiritual" pieces, interpreted to perfection by B Tribe. Overall the approach to the music is almost reverent in its re-interpretation and combination of tunes that always rest on the edges of your mind. For instance, there is a new take on "Adagio for Strings", some tradtitional Irish in "She moved through the Fair" and Bob Marley samples on "The Sun". I know I heard the theme from the movie "Diva" in there as well, or was it "Cinema Paradisio"? The cuts are very ambient for B Tribe, but this makes for a wonderful CD, when you are after the "spiritual" feel. This is an altogether enjoyable CD from beginning to end.

When I first heard this cd I was in the library, I literally stoppped in my tracks listening to La Guitara. I rushed to the counter to find out who the artist was, then immediately purchased it. Spiritual Spiritual takes you on a spiritual journey within yourself. Pure genius is at work here.

O, I am a b-tribe fan I am! What a fabulous, intense, spiritual journey that is even, at times, orgasmic: which for me is a spiritual experience, to be sure! The haunting tones, the vibrant voices, the light that shines through the vibrations of the beat, yes, these people know how to create an atmosphere of love, trust, beauty, warmth. My favorite remains "Suave, Suave," but this is a great follow-up. Frankly, we have them all, and with good reason. In a time when we need peace more than ever, "Spiritual, Spiritual" reminds us what peace - and joy - feels like. Get yours today.

We use the music in our SAUNA & RELAX Center for many months!!!And still, almost every time we get that same question, where did you get this fine music???
Here where I live almost nobody (+99%) do not known B-Tribe or had ever heard of it!
It's the top, better than so many boring new-age music...
we listen to this music every day and still we never said it's to much now let get something different now. People who want a top album, please buy this stuff (even blind)you never get regrets! 5 stars is not enough. Btw the album Tribe V is one of the best 5 albums, believe me it's super!!!

If you are thinking of purchasing a B Tribe CD, and you are on the fence about which one to get, think no further. Spiritual Spiritual provides a constant flow of beautiful music that leaves the ears completely fulfilled. I personally feel that this is a much stronger album than 5. I will never get sick of this CD, and I will put it in heavy rotation in my yoga classes. Definitely a great CD for peaceful driving during a bad commute.

Think of it as Gypsy Kings, under the production of William Orbit!

To me... this CD is just simply beautiful. Great live instruments that match perfect with the electronica elements and YES... it is not a typical B -TRIBE cd, mainly cause is a chill out one, but, to say that is not good, is just not right.

I love this CD and listen to it so often, when in good or bad or sad mood. It reflects that pure warm feeling of being away from this world in a far tropical or mediterranean Island and is just you and the ocean. Great for meditation.

This music is saving my sanity, if not my life, right now. I've got alot of stress going, and heard this song on a cable music channel that I was playing as background music, especially when I was lying around with a fever for 4 days. The song would come on and I'd wonder, "What IS that." It was identified as B-Tribe, and I thought, What is B-TRIBE?! I waited hours for the same song to come back on. Then went looking for the CD at Amazon. Thank God they had it. Someone offered to buy it for me for Xmas. I said I HAVE TO HAVE IT RIGHT NOW. It's playing right now!

I have been a fan of B Tribe and have all three of their CDs. This one is different than the first two...a good different. I love the unique style and highly recommend Spiritual, Spiritual. The best track on this cd, "She Moves Through the Fair" is absolutely mesmerizing. Listen to it and you will be hooked.

The first time I played Spiritual Spiritual, I was actually disappointed (like one of the earlier reviews). Thus, I just stuck the CD in my carrier and forgot about it. Then, one night, while driving through the mountains of SW Colorado, I stuck Spiritual Spiritual into the player simply because I had already played everything else on hand, and wanted to hear something new. My reaction completely surprised me! Both my wife and I were taken by the music on some mystical journey that I hadn't known was there in the music. Since then, every time I play this CD, I find that I like the music more than I did the last time. This is a great CD!
