My 15 month old son is being raised bilingual. This book is one of his favorites becuase it combines Spanish and flaps to open and is durable! Sometimes he 'reads' it by himself and laughs when he sees the baby. It also uses simple vocabulary and is a good starter book for people who don't speak Spanish.

My 18 month old loves this book. She has trouble lifting the flaps herself but if I slip a finger under then she can do it & is delighted. The book goes along in the form of, "Here's the baby's ball...here's the baby's chair, but where's the baby?" On the left there's a picture of a toy and on the right a picture of a playpen or bathtub or whatever, and when you lift the flap there's the same picture of the high chair or whatever, but with the baby sitting there. The Spanish is great, very simple.

My 2-year-old loves to say ?Donde esta el bebe? now because of this book. It's short enough to allow me to read the whole thing without her wanting to get down before it's done, and fun for her to repeat the words.
