Sean Thomas was born in Los Angeles and raised in Inglewood, California. A brief stint as an Audio Engineering student at Columbia College Chicago led to a post production internship on the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, CA. Sean's experience at Sony fueled his desire to write and a young director on the Sony lot suggested he take screenwriting courses at UCLA Extension to develop his craft. From there, Sean joined the Organization of Black Screenwriters and went on to write several feature film and television spec scripts. He is the author of the memoir entitled, "The Avocado Tree" and the creative mind behind the anti-bullying children's book series, "Smilee & Company." Sean holds a Bachelor's of Information Technology and resides in Oklahoma City with his family, where he is penning a series of forthcoming books.
