...just finished it, and, as a Constant Reader, I was more than satisfied.

I just finished reading the artist edition from Donald M. Grant, and Constant Readers have NOTHING to worry about!

This book has everything you know and love from the rest of the series.

Sai King is still on the path of the beam, I wot.
Do ye kennit?

I finished it last night. Loved everything about it. I thought the recursive structure of the story, with common elements echoing through (ka is a wheel) was really well done.

Can't wait. I'm almost 70 and feel this series is now an integral part of my life. I love reading and literature but have never been so profoundly linked to any book/s.

I agree! The series is a modern epic and it has had an impact like very few other pieces of literature. I have a strong connection to the stories and the characters and the meanings of the lessons.

I am currently on book 4. Should I pick this up now or wait until I have finished 5-7?

It makes no difference.
Anything else I could add to that statement would be a spoiler.

Is the hardcover version of this book that has just been released illustrated?

Only if you buy the Donald M Grant edition.
The regular hardcover has NO illustrations.
