I purchased this scale in order to be able to weigh out small amounts of powders/chemicals for "molecular gastronomy" cooking. This scale completely fills the bill. The precision is very high and there is no baseline drift at all. I am able to weigh out less than a tenth of a gram of material and the scale responds very quickly as I add small amounts of powder to the weigh boat, making it very easy to measure out exactly the quantity I need. The touch screen is very easy to read and is very responsive. Also, the screen stays on for a sufficient amount of time; I've had no problems with it timing out before I am done. All in all I couldn't be more happy with my purchase.
