2.0 out of 5 stars Fish eye -- not really, January 30, 2010

I was not happy with the product itself, but the sellers are terrific and I would definitely buy other things from them.

I have a Nikon D-90 with 18-105 lens. This has an accessory ring of 67mm. That was the first problem. You have to have a different adapter to mate the two devices up. The seller shipped a ring that would fit at their expense and without delay. Even so, the lens really didn't work very well in that configuration.

I was visiting a friend, and we decided to try it on his camera. The adapter that came with the lens fit his camera alright. The results were better, but not what I expected. So next I tried it on my daughters Nikon D-40. She has the 18-55 mm lens. The results were better, but still there was no real "fish-eye" effect. It works okay to make expand out your wide angle capabilities, such as shooting in a confined area where you can't move the camera a proper distance. Other than that, think about breaking the piggy bank and get one of the expensive lenses for the camera.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good service, not the greates linse, October 21, 2010

Good service, had the set in the mail a few days after I ordered it. The Product isn't great compared to real linses. The pictures are often blurry, look as if they're done with an old camera, which I guess can be good. I have a Nikon D40x. It fits on my linse (52mm) but not on a bigger one. I think it would probably better to safe money for a real linse, but for starters its okay
