I purchased this ring as an engagement ring for my sweetie. When I inspected the ring, I found what looks like white cotton fibers wedged between the prongs and the stone. I had to pick the fibers out with a pair of tweezers. I gave it to her the night I got the ring, and she said "yes"! The ring was slightly large, so I took it to an independent local jeweler the next day to have it re-sized. He showed me that it is NOT 1/2 carat in size, by comparing with several other 1/2 carat diamonds he had in the store, including ones of the same cut. This diamond is much closer to the 1/4 carat diamonds he had in the store. Indeed, the picture used for this ring on the amazon site is the exact same that is used for the 1/4 carat diamond rings for sale from the same vendor. Unfortunately I cannot return this ring, because it was already given to my fiancee'. This is the last time I ever buy anything like this online. Do yourself a favor and find a nice small independently owned jeweler in your city and purchase a ring from them. It will cost LESS money, and LESS headache, and be of higher quality.

As others have stated the band on the ring leaves much to be desired. reminds me of a ring from a bubble gum machine. I was ok with that as I was going to have it set on a different band. I took it too a premium jeweler and to my suprise, the diamond was such poor quality and cracked in so many places that they would not touch it. they were afraid that if they took it out of the setting that the diamond would crumble into pieces. this is definetly a $100 dollar ring and not worth near the thousands that they claim.

I ordered this ring based on a detailed review of the product and the given photos. The product I received was not the one in the picture. First, closely look at the pic. I has an appearance of a round edge around the circumference. The ring does not. Instead it has sharp edge on both sides of the ring right around the circumference. I suggest to anyone seeking to purchase this ring to think very very carefully before committing to any purchase. Unfortunately, any pieces of jewelry I may buy in the future I will first check to see if the product comes from DivaDiamonds, and only after very thorough research (I may be forced to ask them to send actual pics of piece first) before I commit. It may actually make sense to direct your search elsewhere. Maybe Amazon should look carefully at whom it associates to do business. If such merchants are willing to misrepresent a product just to garner sales it does to some extent tarnish the otherwise wonderful relationships Amazon may have with its loyal customers. Please be guided accordingly.

after months of exaustive research on the internet...........i was torn between a beautiful 1/2 ct. dia. ring through Blue Nile and the one i got from Diva through Amazon...........the one at Blue Nile was a grade cleaner and a color clearer......
however, i only paid 1/2 as much through Amazon and 99% of most people couldn't tell the difference......the diamond is cleanr and exibits more fire than i thought it would considering the price and am extremely happy i chose to save myself 500.00... the band is pretty thin though but the 500.00 difference in price was well worth it.........my fiancee loves it immensely and even shows it off to strangers......for the price you can't go wrong.......would reccomend it to anyone looking for an eng. ring who's needing to or trying to save some money and who isn't looking to save money these days?

The diamond on this product is very nice for the price. I think it goes well on someone who has petite hands. If the lady has larger fingers or hands, you might want to go up to 3/4. It looked very nice on my fiancee's hand as she wears a size 5. The band is flater and thinner than it appears on the website. It is still nice, but the flatness of the band may make some question the validity of the diamond. The diamond is as advertised though. Think it is a good choice if you are wanting a good value. If you have a lady that is really looking for a "big rock," with a nice band, you may want to get something a little more expensive, or at least something with a more substantial band.

This ring is very pretty, and the diamond is a nice size. The only disappointment is that the picture is not accurate- the band looks much more substantial and rounded- infact it is a very fine flat band- and the diamond is not flush with the band, but raised. But, nevertheless I am still pleased- it is great value, and I have had many compliments.

This wonderful engagement ring is everything any bride wants, a shinny beautiful diamond, a classy and fine ring and the retail price of it is three times higher ! My son was looking for an engagement ring and he had been unlucky finding something classy within his means (he is a student. ) I recommended Amazon ( I always find what I want) and not only he was pleased for the affordable price, but also happy for such great quality. Divadiamonds rings are affordable, beautiful, elegant and if you try to find the same quality ring everywhere else be prepared to pay at least three times more.

I love this ring. excellent price. band is thin but it looks very nice on my finger since i have a petite hand! I am very please with it.

I received the ring, but it had small black spots on the bottom of the band, and I was overall not impressed. However, I contacted Diva Diamonds, and they had me send it back for repair. I was worried because I had a date set to give it to my girlfriend, but they repaired it and shipped it back quickly, in time for me to give it to her.

Upon receiving the repaired ring I was blown away! It was like a whole new ring. The band was brand new, the diamond was sparkly, and it looked great.

I probably sent 15 emails it seems like to their customer service during the repair process, and all were answered promptly, even during after-business hours.

If I am to assume I just happened to get a rare, defective ring at first (which happens with every company from time to time) I can whole-heartedly recommend this ring and this seller if you are looking for a great ring at a great price.

UPDATE: Me and my fiancé eventually used the diamond from this ring to create a custom ring at our local jeweler. We wanted a more substantial band than the fairly thin one this ring has. The jeweler said it was a great diamond. I'm still glad I bought it. It got the job done when I didn't have a lot to spend, and for that we are grateful!

This ring is pretty ,and the diamond is very nice for this price, very clear ,shiny and sparkly.
