4.0 out of 5 stars Dreams' Meanings Revealed In This Great Book
10,000 Dreams Interpreted is one of the best dream books out there. Pamela Ball uniquely describes every common dream you have ever had, and even some no so common ones, in the book. I compared it to other leading dream books and it was at the top of my list. I strongly recommend The Illustrated Dream Dictionary. It is really good also if you like dream books. That is not...

1.0 out of 5 stars Mundane Garden-Variety Dream Book.
This book is terrible. It has all the common conventions of a Dream dictionary book. I would have to say that out of all the mundane, garden-variety dream books out there, this one rates in the top 5. Some of the older releases of these books are very racist! I find it interesting that if you dream of a black man or black person (refered to as a negro), that you will...

4.0 out of 5 stars Dreams' Meanings Revealed In This Great Book, November 23, 2000

That is not meant to discourage your reading of 10,000 Dreams Interpreted, because it is really great also. It is affordably priced and good for an ongoing activity of dream defining, or just as a reference from time to time for your really seemingly meaningless or odd dreams. I advise you to keep a journal or log of your dreams if you really want to go above and beyond and figure out your dreams. You can record your dream frequency (how many nights you have dreams), what they were, what they mean to you, and how your dream dictionary defined them. This book is very interesting and helpful and I recommend this as a gift for any teen or young adult. It is a book for light reading and very enjoyable. A mixture of psychological reading and thought provoking material are beautifully combined in this easy to read, fast paced page turner.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Book, December 15, 2000

This is by far the best dream book that I have read. Although there are somethings I have not been able to find in here, I have found a lot to help with my dream work. I especially appreciate that she analyzes in the 3 different dream aspects,so it's very easy to decide what this dream means to you. I have recomended this to quite a few of my friends.

This book is terrible. It has all the common conventions of a Dream dictionary book. I would have to say that out of all the mundane, garden-variety dream books out there, this one rates in the top 5. Some of the older releases of these books are very racist! I find it interesting that if you dream of a black man or black person (refered to as a negro), that you will have bad luck (what bull$hit)!
If you want a reall Dream Dictionary, *HUNT* for "The Dream Book" or "Dream Dictionary" by Evad Aras. This is the best dream dictionary I have ever used in my life. The book is extremely rare and hard to find. I found my copy used on barnes & noble. This book features numerolgy interpretations and very accurate interpretations of dreams. Evad Eras's book is far more accurate than Pamela balls book. I almost believe that Pamela's book is a knock-off that's been dumbed-down!
Another good book is the "Gypsy Dream dictionary" by Raymond Buckland. But *NO* book comes close to Evad Ara's books.

This book really is unhelpful. Images common to many dreams aren't included, and the few images that are discussed in this book are improperly interpreted. The descriptions make no sense, and often are completely off base with general consensus on dream interpretations. If you're looking for a good book for dream interpretation, I instead recommend the 10,000 dreams interpreted book by Gustavus Hindman Miller - Miller's book has been around for many, many years, and is the book that most other dream interpretation books are based upon.

I refer to Pamela Ball's "10,000 Dreams Interpreted" quite frequently. I find it easy to read and understand...nearly everything I have ever dreamed about has been in there. I love the fact that she's very detailed in her interpretations for the most part. I would recommend this book highly to other soul-searchers and/or dream explorers out there. I'm not sure what these other reviewers were looking for, but I think the book is great.

this book came with No cover. so it is not what i call in good condition. it also does not interpert dreams in a way i would have liked. and a lot of the dreams you have they refer you to the same thing, like if you dream of a person, it says to go to people. its like reading things over and over again. also there are a lot of dreams i have or someone i know has and there is no answer, its not even in there. you would thing 10,000 dreams there would be more detail and more enteries. so i really don't rate this book high at all. i will be coming back to see if i can find one that does and says what i need.

It sucks. Many, many words/things I look up are not there. The iterperatations and symbolism are lame. It is the most inadequate dream book I've ever come across.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: 10,000 Dreams Interpreted (Hardcover)
this book was the lousiest thing ever. it all leads to the same thing. if you wanna know what it is, read the book yourself, but don't expect a great book. and also this stuff has nothing to do with the actual item. for example: "waterfall" allegedly means- at the 'basic' level of interpritation: CENSORED! don't read this book if you're looking for the truth about your dreams. instead, waste the money on hiring a professional to do it. that's how horrible this book is.

3.0 out of 5 stars not what i expected, June 8, 2001

This review is from: 10,000 Dreams Interpreted (Hardcover)
This book is really great. I learned things that I didnt know. And now I can interpret my dreams really easily. But i only have one negative comment about the book, and that is when i read the first part of the book (before the interpretations section) it wasnt that "free flow" reading as I thought I would be. But apart from that, it is a very useful book.
