Well, first of all, if you're going to take on the challenge of writing a book called "10,000 ways to say I love you" then you have to figure that there are going to be some lame or fluff ideas. In all honesty, this book is probably about 3,000 ideas/quotes you'll find use for (still a good number), but most of the things in here are either rephrases of an earlier idea or some useless junk (do we really need to know what the top 5 love songs of 1955 were?). There are a number of good ideas, it's just a matter of wading through the bad ones to get to it. I think Mr. Godek's best bet would have been to make it a smaller number of ideas and make them all gems, rather than go for such a grand number knowing good and well he'd have to put a LOT of filler in there. There are better romantic idea books out there, but this would be a good one to look at if you're in the bookstore and have some time to kill. I WILL say that it was a neat idea to give several key phrases in several languages ("I love you", "You're sexy", etc).

This is a great book if you have the time and patience to read through thousands of mediocre ideas to get to the few gems. Two far better books are The RoMANtic's Guide and Creative Romance.

I agree with most of the other reviewers. This is a great book for the price=10000 ideas for $10. That's not even a penny apiece. There are a lot of ideas that are definately not what I'd consider romantic (buy them life insurance), but there are some in there that are. If it only costs you 10 bucks to do something nice for the one you love,then this is a great book, but don't expect it to be packed full of gems. Maybe you could both go through with highlighters so you can find the good ones later. I do have to say that you're pretty much guaranteed to find something you like with so many ideas listed. Fun to flip to for a quick idea or something to laugh about. Many many lists of romantic movies, songs, etc.

I don't usually read books like this, but I had not choice, my girlfriend said I better or else! I'm glad I did, I thought I was romantic, loving and I always told her how much i love and appreciate her, but this great book opened my eyes. Not only does it give you great tips on how to say I love you, but it shows you how to show someone you love them. I enjoyed this book very much and my girlfriend loves the way I tell her and show her that I really do love her. I recommend it to all couples.

Godek is a sanctimonious nitwit. Pizza coupons? Give me a break. A good way to share some good times with someone would be to see how many ways you can make fun of this really, really crappy book. Its only 4 dollars. Cheaper than a pizza! Way to say I Love You # 10,001: Buy this book for your lover, and have fun together tearing it up and setting it on fire. P.S. I hate you, Seanbaby, for showing me this book.

I LOVED IT....... This book was great. Very informative and romantic. It can definately put the spark back into any relationship or help with new relationships.

I loved going through this book. There are tons of great ideas, a lot I had never thought of. There were some that seem like common sense in a loving relationship. What I didn't like was there was a LOT of repetition of ideas and a lot of ideas for millionaires. Sorry, but a unlimited shopping spree on Rodeo Drive or hopping a Concorde to Paris are just not in my budget. But, there were some cool phrases you could say in different languages and lots of romantic movie and song ideas. I definately recommend getting this book.

don't you think it dull when some one repeatedly says"i love you"in a unchangable way,this book will help those who are a little bit stubbon on express themselves.

I just finished reading this book and I really enjoyed. It has great creative ideas on how to be romantic. These tips can be used by new couples, married people and especially for those who are trying to get that special someone to really fall for them. I liked the tips about romantic picnics, hiding love notes in your partners clothes and my favorite, surprising him with flowers or ballons or candy on no special occasion. The price for this book is very reasonable, I highly recommend it to anyone.

After 37 years of a happy and fulfilled marriage, we could have written some of this book, have experienced many of the ideas and have learned a lot from it. We believe particularly in #3898 and #3051 and #3053 and have experienced 37 of #2852. Way to Go, Gregory Godek!
