Well, this product does a great job sealing and joining glass-on-glass joints. It's also aquarium safe. My only beef is that I can't find it anywhere (including on their website) in cartridge form!

I'm constructing an aquarium sump out of glass for my up-and-coming bigger saltwater tank. I used this product for round one, and got about halfway done when my hand started to cramp from squeezing that little tube. They really need to sell this stuff in 10 oz cartridges.

I'm surprised the sump only had 3 leaks. I scraped off all of the silicone to do it again, (a lot neater) this time using GE012A silicone in cartridge form. If all you need is a small repair or little job, I'd definitely recommend DAP's product.

i bought this product to make a water partition in a 29 gallon tank. i cut the nozzle down on the 3rd mark from the top to allow a thicker better flow of the silicone. i put down a thick line on one side of the plexiglass went to do it to the other side and the hole bottom part of the actual tube bursted open and it all came out. i had to put what came out on a plate and put on what i could with my finger. the rest on the plate is useless and wasted.

the actual silicone that i was able to use was great, easy to apply, and clean off. the oder was tolerable, and it was untacky in about an hour. the complete curing time for this is about 48 hours. like i said, great product, but the tube needs to be upgraded and made better.

This has been pretty neat to work with... I like that it's high-grade (I mean, what do I know).

You get an alright amount for a smaller project... that's the main downside ... if you don't need this level, I was happy with the regular silicone sealant at about the same price (DAP 08641 is what I got). I just don't know how the quality even works so I'm not saying the general purpose kind is for Aquariums or anything ;) You want to give your fishies the good stuff.

The tube didn't explode....and I didn't think it was going to pose a real problem... but it WAS unwieldy, to say the least. You really have to roll it up like toothpaste and really hold the roll... probably should use some kind of tool/trick but I didn't go searching for one.

The cap end is pretty um .... meh? crummy? alright? It comes with a cap and a nozzle but I just left the nozzle screwed on....I was hoping that the silicone inside of it would stay liquid if I put some tape on the end... but not really.... so you're going to lose a little plug of silicone each time you use the nozzle... maybe I was doing it wrong...Get clever ;) I've got a 1/4 tube left and the cap area is pretty gnarly... whatever, it's silicone...if there's a better way to do this, bring it on. Otherwise, it was OK, I bought more.

Stickey and Smelly it is silicone what did you expect Lol. The tank does not leak It works good the fish are still alive. Good non toxic product for fish tanks.

Used this to add dividers for my tank to made "sub-cell". Worked great and didnt affect any fish, coral or plants! :) Thanks!

We have two large rain barrels which I purchased at the end of last year. When I installed them this spring I found a tiny leak near the top. Rather than deal with the manufacturer and shipping big barrels back and forth, I figured I'd just seal it and be done with it. I found this product and chose it because it is food safe which is important since the water is primarily used to water our garden. It definitely worked, but I knocked a star off because the bottom seam of the tube opened and the sealant exploded all over the place. I'm not sure what the deal was with that but I was able to accomplish what I needed with it.

used the sealant for a crack in a big beverage dispenser. it worked well but before I could even finish using it the first time, the back of the tube busted and all of the sealant was pouring out the back. not cool. Not a bad product necessarily, but bad packaging. so I guess it's not an amazing product if you can't even use it

Great product, easy to use, needs little time to set. ! Used on our fish tank!

Hate to leave reviews like this -- but after exactly TWO uses, the cap cracked and the entire tube congealed, rendering it completely useless. Contacted manufacturer via email and asked for a replacement, never heard anything back. NOT happy.

Glad I found this here, I looked everywhere locally and was not able to find anything similar. Great product.
