The collection includes a pair of tongs, spatula, knife, a meat fork, and a basting brush. All pieces are heavy to the hand and fitted with good-looking, rounded rosewood handles. The working ends of each tool are forged stainless steel with a full-tang construction--the metal piece runs all the way down the handle shaft--to ensure durability.
Other individual features that deserve special mention include the spatula’s three working sides for flipping, testing, and scraping, and a handle ending in a built-in bottle opener. The basting brush has a 1-1/2-inch span of sturdy yet flexible bristles, while tongs feature gripping tines perfect for small pieces of chicken or grilled vegetables. I purchased this BBQ set for my boyfriend last year, and he loves it! All of the tools are very very well made. The metal does not stain or rust, and the wood is very well finished. The metal goes all the way through the handle and is attached very well to the wood. The outer case has a great look and feel with a nice reddish finish. The closing clasps are firm and hold it very well. The entire set looks very high-class and a great presentation. He has been using it all year, and it has stood up very well (though we have never put it in the dishwasher). The blades have remained very sharp and the entire set looks as good as the day I first gave it to him.
I definitely recommend this set as a gift or for personal use when you want that touch of class.

I bought this because I wanted my grill tools in a case so I could keep them out of reach of my grandchildren. I find the tools well made, well designed and very useful. I have a fairly deep grill (Weber Genesis E-320) and the length of the tools makes it easy to work with food on the back of the grill.
That said, the case is very disappointing. I have used it less than two months, it has not been abused in any way, but the veneer on both the top and the front of the case are separating. The problem showed up out of the 30 day return window, or I would have sent it back for a refund/exchange. Do Not Buy this item.
