While writing this review, the website asks me to rate this 'toy'...this model is by no means a toy! It requires patience, precision, and skill (that can be learned beforehand or during the model). If it shows my ratings for the 'toy,' I want to say that it was fun to build and taught me a lot about the ship (and through the research I did, I learned even more). I gave it 1 star durability because it's a model that's not to be played with, and one that can be broken very easily if one's not careful.

The RMS Queen Mary is a beautiful model once completed, and was a challenge to build. My only complaint with this model is that the pieces are stubborn at times (I'm looking at you, bridge and wheelhouse) and require some extra work to be done. Do yourself a favor and research this ship while building her...what you find will enhance your model and make it look more lifelike! Overall, a great kit for the value and a beautiful addition to my collection.

Visited the real ship and was inspired to built the model. This one is very close to the real thing. Needs lots of patience. A few parts were difficult to get together, but the final model turned out great.

Its A big Longer that A PC Keyboard.. its kinda Difficult but not anything you can't handle.. if you take your time and dont rush to build it.. it could look awesome! the only thing i hated was that the bottom part was in 2 pieces and the Glue takes a while to dry... but like I said.. slow and steady and you will get an Excellent Ship!
