Having purchased previously a wire mesh type from H-Depo, I lost half my food to the flames.
This nifty device keeps a good 95% of my sliced up veggies and garlic intact.
A few notes to the first time users...

Don't be afraid to let your veggies blacken somewhat. Mashmallows get totally crisp before they get their good flavor right?
Cook on a high heat and keep stiring.
Steel may blacken, but it won't hurt future cookings.
Have 2 potholders ready to pick this guy up, the metal gets very hot all around.

I learned those last few the hard way, so maybe I can save you some time.

Mr. Bar-B-Q is the perfect addition to your grill tools. The veggies turn out incredible well. Easy to turn and roast. Only word of caution is the size the a full 12 inches and is a little too big to close the top on my Weber 386002 Q-100 Portable Gas Grill. TIP: Spray with PAM before grilling to make clean up a breeze!

As others have said the stainless steel does darken with use. If you spray oil on it before use cleaning is easier. Also they are dishwasher safe.

I absolutely love the flavor of vegetables barbequed on this product. Don't be afraid to allow some food to blacken somewhat.

I received this just a couple of days ago and it works awesome!! I grilled bite size veggies in this and nothing fell through the holes. I still had the grilled taste but no messy cleanup or a hot kitchen. Excellent product!!

Product is a must for BBQ buffs. Have nothing but good things to say RE Amazon merchants.

This wok is very nice and heavy. Costs twice this at my local hardware store.

I wasn't expecting much for the price, but was very pleasantly surprised when I used this wok on the grill. It still looks great, only a little browning so far and the veggies tasted crisp and delicious. Just toss food in a little olive oil firts and place in wok on a preheated grill. Toss veggies every few minutes, carefully. I'm thrilled I ordered this. You won't be disappointed.

I bought the Mr Bar B Q grill basket over the Weber Style 6434 grill basket because it was cheaper and both got good reviews. I wanted something to easily grill diced potatoes, vegatables and cubed meats easily without using skewers. I also wanted something that would be non-stick and you could throw in the dishwasher to clean.

I have only used it once so far to grill diced potatoes and it worked perfectly. I let it heat on the grill and then sprayed it with Pam and I could easily toss the potatoes using a spatula without them sticking at all. The basket does get VERY hot...too hot to even use oven mits to pick it up. So once the potatoes were cooked I simply kept it on the grill and then scooped them into a serving tray. Nothing stuck, nothing fell through the holes and all I had to do was use a little Pam nonstick spray. I can't wait to use it on other vegetables and meats.

The basket is big which I wanted so you'll need a regular full size grill to be able to close the lid. I have a basic four burner gas grill and this basket took up one half of the grill and then I put burgers on the other half. I would not recommend this for very small grills due to its size. The basket does darken and loses its stainless steel shine after grilling...but who cares...I want something that grills well. I have not thrown it in the dishwasher yet but I don't plan on doing that very often anyways. The basket gets so hot it will kill any germs/bacteria on there anyways. I never wash my grill grates so why would I wash this?

I have used this now several times to grill veggies and it seems to work very well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is a bit hard to clean, but I am not one bit sorry I made this purchase. It is pretty large, and I like that part about it.

Not much to say about this little wok, but it's been a great addition to our grill. Just chop up a variety of veggies and throw them in, toss with a little olive oil and salt and pepper, then throw them on the grill (turning every so often). You'll have a perfect side dish to your meal!
