The picture shows 2, but you only get one. I was disappointed. It is glass, and it is a nice pot, but if you are looking for 2 like is shown in the picture, look for others.

All the pots were broken at work. I reach the coffee maker and found the right pots. boy that abuse from my co workers. I will buy these pots again. that's a promise.

I received an 8 cup plastic decanter when I ordered this 12 cup Glass Bunn Decanter.The decanter I received is plastic with an orange handle and a silver metalic type bottom. It is 8 cup. It is much smaller but exactly like the 12 cup plastic decanter I now own which brings us to the reason for me ordering the 12 cup GLASS decanter. The plastic decanter causes a frying squealing sound on the warming plate of the Commercial Bun Coffee pot I have. The frying, squealing sound has something to do with the material on the bottom of the plastic decanter and it doesn't matter if you just make coffee or it has sat awhile the frying squealing sound occurs and you can hear it from the kitchen into the family room and office area of our house over 20 feet away. You can lift the pot off the warmer and it quits, sit it down and it begins again. I have put various plates between the plastic coffee pot and the warmer to try to stop it but the coffee doesn't get as hot. If you can find someone on Amazon who will actually send you a 12 cup Glass Decanter, by all means get the glass Decanter. I had one with my original commercial bunn coffee pot when I got it many years ago;however, after many years of use, my husband dropped and broke it so I Ordered the 12 cup plastic from Amazon several years ago to avoid such an accident again. The plastic decanter has always made this frying squealing sound since I got it so I figured it was inherent to the plastic decanters with the metal type bottom. Thus the reason for me ordering the 12 cup GLASS Decanter.Also, we noticed that our coffee never tasted quite the same as it did in the glass decanter even though we were using the same coffee.

Pro for the glass- easier to clean, doesn't make a sound on the warming plate unless you happen to leave the bottom wet which makes a small frying sound but it leaves after the water evaporates.The 12 cup one I got with my coffee pot was superb! I think coffee taste better in the glass decanter.
Cons for the glass decanter - breakable!

Pro for the Plastic - It won't break if you drop it!
Cons for the plastic - Harder to clean than the glass decanter,Makes a squealing frying sound when you make coffee and the sound doesn't go away unless you lift the pot off the warmer. Coffee doesn't taste the same as in the glass decanter.
