Thank God for Gel Pads! The seat that came with my stationary exercise bike is as hard as a brick. I could not "ride" for more than 5 minutes, before my ischial tuberosities and my[...] were screaming bloody murder. The Gel Seat Cover that I purchased allows me to exercise for upwards of 30 minutes, before stopping to rest.
It is quite literally a life saver.

Its very thick but has a subtle gelly feel to it which feels really good. I like it, although the bicycle seat is still painful. I basically just got a pair of padded bicycle shorts and use both of them to relieve the pain. I think I also just got use to it.
