This is a great DVD system for soccer enthusiasts, parents who want to encourage their kids or coaches looking for ball handling and skills development DVDs. The only reason why I gave this 4 stars and not five stars is that it is a little dated - looks like it was filmed in the early eighties.

Disc 2: moves to beat your opponent has dozens of drills to help you players dominate one on one and get past defenders. Nothing is as fun to watch as a u10 player performing a perfect drag back (Cruyff) move followed by a step over fake to create a break away. Other teams parents always come up after the game and ask how we get our kids to play like that. This video series is one of the best tools we have.

I have had this series since the early 90s, used it with all my teams and we always win year after year. Technique is king at the youth levels and 123 goal provides hundreds of drills clearly demonstrated, i recommend it to all my parents and players. We get new kids every year or two and its the same thing every time, no ball skills when they arrive and superior technique and dominant play by the end of the season. All the drills are simplistic and can be done by the players as homework. The kids laugh at how short our shorts used to be but the content and presentation is the best of all the videos on ball skills I have purchased over the years. Ask around, other coaches will tell you 123 Goal is the best soccer series ever.
