A parent on my soccer team recommended these original "old" Coerver videos as excellent training on individual ball handling skills - starting at age 5 or 6. The video, while dated, provides simple, powerful lessons for ball handling punctuated with World Cup images.

Excellent for your U6 or U7 players, coaches and parents.

Great purchasing experience. The dvd works well and it was delivered in the mail quickly tome (this has always been a complaint of mines on previous purchases).

Disc 1: The fundamentals of ball control. Amazing video that will get your 4, 5 & 6 year old players handling the ball like they were born with it at their feet. All the drills can and should be done at home away from practice to maximize their effect.

I have had this series since the early 90s, used it with all my teams and we always win year after year. Technique is king at the youth levels and 123 goal provides hundreds of drills clearly demonstrated, i recommend it to all my parents and players. We get new kids every year or two and its the same thing every time, no ball skills when they arrive and superior technique and dominant play by the end of the season. All the drills are simplistic and can be done by the players as homework. The kids laugh at how short our shorts used to be but the content and presentation is the best of all the videos on ball skills I have purchased over the years. Ask around, other coaches will tell you 123 Goal is the best soccer series ever.

i agree with the other review on the content but the format, what you'll see on your tv is really unacceptable. These were copied to disc from analog and the result is not good. They need to be digitally transferred. There is a new version from Coerver that I wish I'd bought now.
