Never heard of em before...., July 26, 2010

I first heard of this band when I bought tickets to Bamboozle music festival @ Hershey, PA in June of 2010. Also performing at the concert were bands such as Good Charlotte, Boys Like Girls, Simple Plan, Forever the Sickest Kids, and All Time Low. Since I had never even heard of Mercy Mercedes, I was curious about them. I came to Amazon's website and listened to all the sound clips they had available. I thoroughly enjoyed the songs I heard from this 6 song EP. Their musical style was a catchy pop emo/rock and fit in appropriately with the lineup of bands I was planning to see. I was very interested in seeing them live, but unfortunately they were already finished playing by the time I had arrived at the venue. Therefore I didn't have the opportunity to hear them live. Instead, I purchased this CD EP from their merchandise tent for $5. I am happy with my purchase because I really like all the songs on the disk and I've listened to it several times and added it to my Ipod. I hope they release another album with more, equally catchy songs sometime soon. I will try to catch their live set sometime as soon as possible.
