Excellent Model
First of all, this is a Skill Level 2 scale model, meaning that you will be gluing and painting everything. Compared to a Revell or AMT model, this might be closer to a Skill 3. Final result is not worth all the effort
The scale was a bit deceiving and the parts were quite small. I was dissapointed that the glue was not included. It took many hours of detailed gluing and I amnot sure the final result was worth all the effort.

First of all, this is a Skill Level 2 scale model, meaning that you will be gluing and painting everything. Compared to a Revell or AMT model, this might be closer to a Skill 3. This is a very detailed model that lives up to the Tamiya standards that modelers have relied upon. The trees (what the parts are attached to) are well made and numbered appropriately. There was no excess plastic that needed to be cut off. The instructions are super detailed and require 20+ paint colors to match exactly, less if you want to fudge it a little (I fudged).

My three year old granddaughter told me she someday wants a pink car with polka dots. I couldn't think of a better model than an old VW bug. The model is perfect and the kid is ecstatic.
