Perfect diameter and length for my body, just as described. No fluctuations with diameter at all. The friction of the Bamboo used is perfect for your grip without the need for powders. So workouts can be long and sweaty and this Bo just sticks! I have been a Martial Artist for 32 years and can twhirl and manuever this BO with extreme speed and confidence.

This BO is of the perfect weight and diameter for extremely fast maneuvering. The Bamboo used adds the perfect friction to your hand without the use of powders during a lengthy workout. Some Bamboo Bo's have rough bamboo seams and edges...NOT THIS ONE! Perfect for that martial artist who wants perfection. As far as legnth I like them untapered and 3" above my head. I have been doing karate of all sorts for 32 years., Mike.
