It's a battery and it seems to work
It works out of the box. I will let you know in 5 to 10 years if it lasts. So far, so good.

Meh
Arrived after delivery estimate window, and wasn't sent until end of window. The 12V 1.2AH ordered came as a 1.3AH, but it works.
