in the world of 1/350 scale warships tamiya is known as the benchmark, the "go to" because of their attention to detail and quality in manufacturing. this trumpeter model and trumpeter in general seeks to knock tamiya off their thrown. the detail and quality of product is great, with one added bonus. they add photo etched parts! now this is a first i have seen this. tamiya is starting to introduce photo etched with its newer models but the older big six ships dont have it added. so buy this model with confidence, you wont be sorry. happy modeling!!
