I have purchased this aged cheddar several times, both for myself and for gifts and in my opinion it is superior to many of the products available either in local stores or on line.
I want a sharp cheddar that has a distinct flavor that stands up well to other flavors, assertive but not overpowering and this product is exactly what I like. Friends and family who received it as gifts have subsequently ordered it on their own and all have raved about it.
The texture has a buttery feel that is perfect for nibbling by itself, with fruit or on crackers and it melts smoothly without even a hint of the grainyness which I find so unpleasant in many cheddars.
It is perfect topping a wedge of warm apple pie or pear tart.
The service from this vendor is also exceptional. I can't say enough about their attention to the satisfaction of their customers.

Shipped it fast. Very nice flavor. When I opened the box my first thought was I paid that for this? {24+10sh) Seemed small because I forgot how much 1.5 lbs of cheese really is. Well any concerns evaporated at the taste of this cheese. This is a pretty good value considering the quality and amount.

First thing I had forgotten about quality cheese is the lack of water filler. Grocery store cheeses are high in H2O content and oils to take up space and increase wt. By no means dry, if you hack off a chunk of this cheese you feel as if you've eaten something with some mass and with a good flavor.

Don't know how appropriate but with a glass of wine and some smoked salmon the flavor combination is delicious. Shipped UPS and fast delivery, two days before est date. I'm going to order the 3lb block for only 10 more that should be a real bargain. Took it to work to share and now I have to order 3 for friends too. Dang friends. Very nice you'll like it.

This cheese was delicious. I ordered it for a party and it was a hit.
