I stayed up an entire night to read this book. I simply couldn't put it down! I was fascinated by the beautiful story of the miracle of love and captivated by the courage and expression of pain. Through tear-filled eyes I was mesmorized by the depth of this man's pain, yet I found great hope and inspriation.

Mike Farkas, in his beautiful story of the relationship and unconditional love between a man fraught with pain and his angel opened my heart.

This wonderful book is more than just the account of one man's pain. It speaks to all who will listen with an open heart and mind. For in it you will discover your way past all the hurt, pain and suffering, and escape from the hole of darkness into the light of truth and love.

I bought 1-800-God-Help-Me based on an early amazon.com review. As I read it, I had a strange sensation that I was seeing a reflection of myself. The author's life is obviously fraught with pain, chaos and denial, much like mine has been. The words of Angel were so wise and loving, yet his resistance throughout the book was ironclad as mine had been. I hope his wife has recovered from leukemia and is riding her horse through a field of wildflowers. Yet I was somehow left with a feeling of the author's continued denial even at the end of the book. The book is brilliant. I'm just not sure of the author's credibility to publish such profound stuff if he has't learned the lessons of the material. I hope he has gotten the help he needs. I finally did after I lost MY beautiful wife - a magnificant 6 foot tall dancer - to cervical cancer two years ago. Not until I went deep inside did I discover that her fear, rage and and unresolved grief, and ultimately her painful death were simply a reflection of my own. In her case, it attacked her body; mine was a deep wound of the heart. If you have suffered great loss at the hands of unresolved pain, anger and grief, as I have and obviously the author has, you will find the book a valuable reflection.

At first glance this book might seem to be the story of a modern-day Job...enmeshed in his struggles against a heavy-handed God. Anyone who chooses to dig deeper, however, will discover some very profound and thought-proviking principles. Michael's message is that we must overcome our feelings of intellectual superiority. We meed to learn to love and respect ourselves. By putting aside our defensive armor, we will be given the keys to our own personal doorway to comfort and enlightenment, as we learn to become co-creators with our higher selves, and with the Planetary Ecosphere.

I couldn't put down the book! I only stopped to go to bed for the night. When I got up, I read until I finished it. It was truly inspiring. I found beautiful truth in it. The clear message that when we are connected to our source- aligned with our love, beauty, joy and abundance, life and health- we are at our highest vibration and can attract only the same. Conversely, when we are disconnected, when the "value" to our stream of well-being is closed, our vibration becomes slow and course, and attracts like.

The book brought out so beautifully and poetically the purpose of life is love, joy, creation and being connected to the sourse of all that is.

I loved this book. I thank the author for this amazing gift and it's power to be a transformation tool for others to experience and learn by.

Amazingly, Angel affects in the reality of the individual reader exactly what she says she will do, as stated in this "channeled" text. Each reader actually engages in their own dialoge with Angel. The book becomes a communication between Angel and the one who reads it, as opposed to simply a dialogue between the author and Angel!

So much of the material is so "essential" that it is ineffable and must be a poetic process. Readers must not be afraid of the complexity of this work any more than they should be put off by it apparent unity and simple beauty.

The theme that we are all spiritual creatures first and foremost is played throughout 1-800-GOD-HELP-ME: A Love Story. A love story it is ... Michael Farkas writes about his angels' reminders that love is the most important thing in our existence. Love is the only thing that matters. Because we are all spiritual beings, learning the lessons of love develops our spiritual selves which we take with us even after our current mortal existence is over with. Planet earth is like a huge 'schoolhouse' where we are supposed to learn to love others as well as ourselves. In this book, Angel reminds us that love transcends all.

I suppose I didn't have my glasses on when I ordered this book since the cover is so distasteful it should have been a warning. A sensual angel in a scanty outfit? Well, folks, it gets worse. The angel also speaks in jazzy terms such as "zippity do dah." No kidding. I will be honest though: I couldn't get past the first forty pages so I may have missed Angel's real message of hope to the world. But his [her] message to me was real: Ask for your money back.

One man comes to a turning point in his life where everything he has done up until that time has lost meaning and sense. The walls come tumbling down, form and function of all structure has vanished. His beloved wife has succumbed to terminal illness, and his son has become a stranger. Where does a man turn to? He turns within and finds more there than he ever dreamed he had and a few surprises-he finds an Angel, sent to help him out of his dilemma and help restore him to his true nature. This book is an account of a man and his incredible relationship with his Salvation Angel. It is a guide for others who have lost their way. It is a love story of the sublime on the way to ecstacy. Answering questions from the man, the Angel responds with love and compassion that is meant for all of us. On the route to discovery and renewal, the man leads us-the readers-in a practical blossoming of self to a life free of self-induced obstruction and freedom from crises to live as God, Goddess, All-That-Is intended us to live-in total joy.

One of the most inspiring accounts of a journey out of dispair and darkness I've ever read. The depths to which we descend are directly proportional to the heights to which we ascend.

Mike Farkas had the courage to reach into the caverns of his soul and share with us, that no matter how bad it seems there is always a return path to wholeness.

Michael has written in a realm where few men have chosen to venture. He writes honestly of love, hurt, rage, and last, but never least, spirit. I think he has paved the way for other male writers to courageously explore the emotions that reside beneath their surfaces. The ones that cause them to react in ways that, I believe, they would change if adequately armed with conscious awareness of their psyche and their spirit. I thank him for this gift. He has bolstered my faith in the ability of men to discover their own peaceful solutions and as a result of that divine process, we all benefit. Namaste

If you liked Julia Cameron's "The Artists Way" and found it meaningful, inspiring and important, you will LOVE this book in the same and more ways. It is the exploration and teaching of universal love, intelligence and creativity as can be expressed by those who struggle and have a "quest" for self realization through love and creative expression. I found this book deeply inspiring. Emotionally it touched my soul and my heart in ways that I feel, but that I can't explain. I highly recommend it for anyone who has a passion to be creative and needs instruction.
