N.O.R.E was on Rocafella Records when this album got shelved. Now Im not a N.O.R.E. fan but this album was better than his previous three albums. There are a few rough spots on the album but this was the type of record Nore should have been making.

The singles for this album were Get Down(produced by Timbaland), Im A G(produced by Neptunes) and N****rico(produced by Just Blaze). Get Down is wack, Im A G is alright but N****rico's unabashed silliness makes it enjoyable. For A Minute feat Nature is good as well as Bad Man which also features Nature. Drink was on a few mixtapes so Im sure people have heard it. Ordinary People is cool even though it pretty much uses John Legend's verses from his single with the same title. Friendz feat Big Pun(RIP) and Mariah Carey is pretty tight.

Skip material: Girl, Oye Mi Canto, Hang Hang and Do Somethin are definitely filler.

Conclusion: Nore's 1 Fan A Day album is far from perfect but its way better than Noreality and Melvin Flynt Da Hustler. Nore's rhymes were a lot stronger on some tracks and the production is not bad. Rocafella should have released this album. What would they have to lose?

Standouts: FOR A MINUTE, BAD MAN, FRIENDZ, IM A G, ORDINARY PEOPLE, WATCH ME and N----RICO.
