I am notorious for brush marks, especially when doing trim. I heard about this from a friend who is a professional. Tried it today in especially hot and dry weather and it worked like a charm. I will never be without it again, at least not in this weather or on trim work. Btw, it's $6.97 @ Home Depot.

I'm no professional but let me tell you this stuff is amazing. I use semi-gloss paint, and being as anal as I am, the walls never measured up to my standards....until I found Floetrol. No more roller marks or paint brush marks after painting. I highly recommend it.

A new door I was installing needed painting, so I opted to use my HVLP spray gun to avoid unsightly brush marks. I'd read online about mixing Floetrol and a small amount of water to thin and level the paint. It took a little trial and error, but I finally got my gun to spray decently. However, I still had an orange peel effect in the finish coat.

I was a bit discouraged by the initial outcome, and I set up a couple fans to quickly dry the paint so that I could sand it down and repaint. To my amazement, the paint leveled flat as it dried, and it showed no flaws or orange peel. I was stunned. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone looking to spray latex with an HVLP gun. Great stuff!

I have recently started to paint furniture. I hated brush lines. This product has definitely decreased the lines. It's not perfect. I have still had to sand a little and repeat but it's so much less. Maybe with more practice I will get better

I was trying to thin some paint out so that you couldn't see the stroke marks in it for a project I was working on and it worked well...I would recommend it

I have no clue how this product has such good reviews. I used it as directed with high quality paint and brushes on a perfectly prepped surface and the finish looks like garbage. Tons of brush marks all over a perfectly flat top. I've never seen anything so bad, it's almost as if it did the opposite of the intended purpose.

It didn't work for me. I still had brush strokes showing. What did I do wrong??
