This chain hoist is poorly advertised, but high quality. It is a single fall chain hoist, with a test certificate for 50% greater than advertised load. Most cheap hoists are double fall, and leave a mess of chain on the floor, not to mention are so slow. Also, it is a true 10 foot or greater fall instead of 8 or 9 feet. Both the top and bottom hooks have swivels. All pieces are bolted together with locking hardware and appear to be 1/8 inch stamped steel or thicker. The chains run smoothly and the gearbox feels smooth and well finished. It is made in China, which was a surprise to me, but you're getting a quality product for $120, the castings and the quality of the chains attest to this.
