Matt Redman may be the premier songwriter in Christian music over the past fifteen years as the writer of worship classics "The Heart of Worship," "Better Is One Day," "Blessed Be Your Name," "You Never Let Go" and most recently "Our God," which he co-wrote with Chris Tomlin for the Passion: Awakening collection and many more modern worship anthems sung by tens of millions every week in worship services around the world. Matt's hit song "Shine" was part of the Passion: God Of This City album and "Here For You" is the opening track from Passion: Here For You. My favorite story about Matt Redman, a native of England, is that in response to his church having too much focus on music his pastor suggested they take a break from singing which led to his writing "The Heart of Worship." The lyrics "I'm coming back to the heart of worship, it's all about You" sums up Matt's ministry and focus on vertical worship. His sincere singing and songwriting style and biblical inspired lyrics have made me a huge fan of Matt Redman.

10,000 Reasons sticks to the style that fans have come to admire and respect about Matt, starting off with a great up-tempo song with Matt and a live audience singing "We Are The Free," which has a great energy and reminds me of "Freedom Is Here" by Hillsong UNITED both in upbeat music and celebratory message. "Here For You" was also recently recorded by Chris Tomlin on the most recent Passion: Here For You collection and it's a wonderful congregational song with the hooky and worshipful chorus: "To You our hearts are open, Nothing here is hidden, You are our one desire, You alone are holy, Only You are worthy, God let Your fire fall down." Matt is truly a gifted songwriter similar to fellow British worship artists Tim Hughes and Martin Smith of Delirious.

Some other stand-out moments on this very catchy album are the amazing songs "10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord)" and first single "Never Once." "10,000 Reasons" really excites me as a worshipper and musically is my favorite song on this great album, the most complete album by Redman in my opinion. I would love to sing this song with fellow believers as the song has great energy and reminds me of "I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever" by Delirious as Matt and the congregation declares in unity, "Bless the Lord, Oh my soul, Oh my soul worship His Holy Name, Sing like never before, Oh my soul, I'll worship Your Holy Name." "Never Once" is a great worship anthem and a surefire hit song. It has a Brit-rock musical feel and one of the catchiest lyrical hooks I've ever heard. The chorus has Matt belting out, "Never once did we ever walk alone, never once did You leave us on our own, You are faithful, God You are faithful." Amen to that! One of Matt's strengths is the strong biblical truth of his songs, and he prays and calls upon our King Jesus in every single song. There is absolutely no doubt Who these songs are about.

CLOSING THOUGHTS (Staff Review, NewReleaseTuesday.com)
I've been collecting Matt Redman's albums since 1999's The Heart Of Worship and he is my favorite overall worship leader in all of Christian music. For me, the stand-out songs that you'll want to start singing at your church are "We Are The Free," "Here For You," "10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord)" and first single "Never Once," which are my favorite songs on the album. If you like Hillsong LIVE, Chris Tomlin and Tim Hughes then you must get 10,000 Reasons which is one of the best worship albums of the year and the best overall album by Matt Redman in my opinion. Matt enthusiastically sings Brit-rock style praise and worship and every single song could be added to your Sunday morning worship set.

Matt Redman is one of my favorite P&W artists, but I've been left wanting since his Face Down album. This album finally fills that gap. Really great songs, and love that many of the songs are live. If you don't own this album, get it. Great job, Matt.

Not much to say, it's another great release from Matt Redman. He was able to stay true to himself and be relevant to the current flow of contemporary worship. It's genuine and real, which cannot be said of some other "worship" albums that have come out. It's worth the purchase and I'm sure, when listening to it in your time of worship and praise, it will bless you.

This is one of my favorite CDs that I own. In November 2012, I had brain surgery to remove a benign tumor about the size of a baseball. I listened to the CD non-stop before surgery and throughout recovery. The song 10,000 Reasons had been my theme song since the middle last year, but little did I know that this song would be played the three Sunday's leading up to my brain surgery. It was also played the first Sunday that I came back to church in January. I don't have any influence on song choices in my church. Right before I went under for my surgery the song "Never Once" was in my head. To say that this is a great CD is an understatement. For me, it was life changing. The words of these songs gave me the motivation to push through my recovery. When I woke up from surgery, I couldn't walk, talk clearly, think, and was deaf in my right ear. I am a graduate from Georgia Tech. The analogy that I have used is having brain surgery to me is like a star QB having surgery on their throwing arm. The Drs. told me that I would be doing great to recover by December of 2013. I was discharged from ALL therapies in February 2013 and was fully recovered. I went through radiation Feb-March of this year to remove the 10% of the tumor that couldn't be removed surgically. While alone in the treatment room for about 45 minutes the songs of this CD kept playing in my head. "Endless Hallelujah" was a great summary song for what I had been through. I can't promise that this CD will help you like it helped me, but I can only hope that the songs will ring true for each of you!

I just LOVE this CD! Every song on it is great. I saw Matt live at a Joyce Meyer conference recently (love her!) and purchased this CD. I've listened to it over and over and will be purchasing his other CDs in the future. You won't be disappointed with this purchase!

The song 10,000 reasons makes this album very worthwhile. There are several other good songs on this album, but that song definitely sticks out (hence the title of the album I'm sure). It's a great way to start your day listening to worship music, and this album fulfills that.

On a side note, I am someone who owns predominantly "secular" albums, and the only Christian music I can really listen to and enjoy is worship music. Everything else produced in the realm of Christian music, besides worship music, comes off as cheesy. Christian songs on the radio often sound like they've ripped off secular artists by cheaply emulating their style and sound. It's refreshing to have solid worship albums like this one being produced. We need less Christian music that tries to sound like secular music, and more worship music to glorify a wonderful and gracious God. Keep the songs coming Mr. Redman.

My mother used to listen to that track on YouTube and asked that I purchase her the CD. I did and it's been a blessing to me, also, since I got the MP3s auto-added to my Amazon MP3 Cloud drive. Totally awesome. The Lord is good.

Matt Redman's finest album to date--an incredible accomplishment for a composer deemed by many as the best contemporary Christian song creater. I'm glad Nathan Nockels produced this music, he keeps the sound coherent and real.

When I first came into modern worship music about 12 years ago, I think every other song we played at church was a Matt Redman song. I remember going to a songwriter's workshop at a Passion conference and thinking, "Who is this small man with the British accent?" I look back on that now and remember how humble he was even though he was a 'rock star' in Christian music circle. It's through that humility that God continues to give Matt these incredible songs.

Every song on this album may not be a memorable song, but all of them are rich and right with God's truth. We play '10,000 Reasons' at my church during worship and I can see how people connect with this song. There is a timeless message within it that rings true today and people are able to worship in spirit and truth.
