I was watching a movie just recenlty and Adrianne's song (shooting star) was playing in the background.I was hooked from that moment.I was only able to get three or four words from the song but somehow managed to find her cd on the internet. Just purchased "10,000 Stones" and waiting for "Mistake" her newest cd. She is such a "thought provoking songwriter" and her voice just takes you right in like a warm summer's breeze. I really hope she continues with this gift she has given us....She is fantastic!!! Hope she comes to the SF bay area, would love to see her live...

I bet when Adrianne burps, it sounds fantastic. Her voice is smoky and rich and she commands it without effort. Her melodic sensibilities are beyond her (apparently young) age although she does seem to favor a similar arc in many of her songs. Unfortunately, her words: not so much beyond her years.

Who cares: she could read a phone book and I'd buy a recording of it.

I heard a song being played in a TV show I was watching and I looked it up immediately. Turned out to be Adrienne. I got this album and I love every song. Her voice is just lovely! Am planning to get her other albums.

Indy? folk? rock? How on earth do you label this. There's something to conjure with in those 3 words. Utterly astounding, challenging; recommend without reservation; a few more words. And I still don't know where to start. Adrianne's lyrics and integrity of delivery make this one to just buy and listen to. Aspects could never have been written by a male singer song writer, I'm absolutely sure of that. Other elements could never have been written by one who hadn't had some sort of Catholic background. But this is intensely personal. Comparisons could be made with some Brandi Carlile or Wailin Jennies. But to try and get this all in one package, which is also stunningly unique, is beyond my capacity to describe. So just buy it and listen and see if you agree.
