We have 10 Days in Asia, 10 Days in Europe and 10 Days in Africa. All three are lots of fun, and not just for kids! We were introduced to Africa by our adult friends, and we soon migrated to Asia and then Europe. When we have a "game night" this is usually the one we pull down from the shelf.
Although all of the 10 Days games are similar, what makes Asia unique is the use of "railroads" to connect the countries. The other games have airplanes, cars, and ocean travel, but Asia is the only one with railroads and that makes it all the more intriguing - you can really make some cool connections. I can't recommend a board game any higher - it's an awful lot of fun for around twenty bucks!

We first got Europe, which we liked a lot. There is enough chance that it plays different enough each time to keep your interest.
The colors are not very distinct for someone will poor vision like me. I put initials for the colors on the cards with a black marker to solve that problem. We bought USA next. It didn't seem as challenging. Maybe just because it was more familiar. When we played with USA and Europe side-by-side it was much funner. Then we bought Asia. We only played it once by itself. Now we almost always play with all 3 together. To make it a little tricker, we include the St. Lawrance seaway and the Great Lakes as part of the Atlantic Ocean. We also make it 20 days instead of 10 days. With that many to link together your strategy has to be very dynamic. We are looking forward to buying Africa, but I don't know how we will fit them all on the table. We hope they come out with one that includes Central & South America (maybe an "10 Days in the Americas").

We area family with teenagers and we got Africa, Asia and Europe. Asia is the more
challenging. We like the geography lesson each time we play it. We find it very interesting. I think this game is very educational. This was a Christmas present for my 21` year old son who is majoring in Math.

We started with 10 Days in Europe and discovered in a different map game, we pretty much knew where the countries were and their locations in relation to other countries.
So we bought the Asia (and Africa) version. 10 Days in Asia is different enough from the Europe game that it's still a challenge and fun. It's not just "same game; different names" like all the different Monopoly versions. The objective of Asia may be the same but the way to get there is different from the Europe version. Like Racko (if you've played it), you have to get your 10 tiles in a particular order by picking up new tiles and discarding from your hand. Unlike Racko, you're dealing with countries and ways to travel from one place to another--train, sea, or "walking"--and there are lots of options. There are some games I always win so the family won't play with me (Boggle, for instance). But with the 10 Days In games, it's a toss up who will win. It takes strategy & skill but it also depends on when the right card comes up. Playing time for us has been 5-20 minutes...and then we play a new round so that takes us up to 10-40 minutes. Allow for additional time when snacking, too. :)

This is a game that our family has played many times. I can honestly say I have learned more about other countries from this game than anything else. You and the other players will find countries; I bet you did not even know existed. 10 Days in Asia is great for the kids who are studying Asian countries in school and crave more knowledge. It also has tremendous replay value, which is what I look for when I purchase a new game.
There are four other games in the 10 Days line. They are Europe, Africa, USA, and Americas. All make a great learning adventure for the young and old.

So much of the world's geography and world's population lives in Asia, it is no surprise that this game reflects the diversity of those regions and cultures. Having the rail tiles is a truly unique element in this 10 Days game and adds a real level of enjoyment and challenge. The expanse of Asia and all the island countries make this a bit more challenging too. Beware of the Persian Gulf countries too, you may never get out! Our families favorite of all the 10 Days games.

This game helps individuals learn the countries. It is fun and encouraging to learn and play. My son actually picks this game over the other common games, monopoly, clue, etc. We will definitely purchase the game for the different continents.

Just got this game and have been playing it every day. I bought it on the strength of 10 days in Europe which I've had for a long time. This game is much faster than 10 Days in Europe because of the rail system. With the rail system you can connect 1 country to many others, and this is an option that 10 D in EU doesn't have. Also helpful is that many countries in 10 D in Asia border on to the sea on that getting from one to another via ship is very easy.
Actually playing this one improved my strategy for 10 D in EU, and when we went back to 10 D in EU, we found it much slower and the Asia game was more fun to play. I've seen some people do this, but the next thing we'll try will be to combine both games, which is possible because a few countries exist in both games. Fun: Yes, especially if you like these cerebral games. Educational: Definitely, you learn a lot of geography. Overall: A great game. I think we'll buy 10 D in Africa or the Americas next.

This version is more complicated than the others, including seas and boats and many smaller countries (which is a good thing!). It wouldn't be a good version of the game to start out younger children on, but adults and older teens will probably enjoy it very much. I love how well made the board and pieces are. One of the best ways to learn more about geography. Overall, fantastic tool/game.

We got this for the kids for Christmas. We all love it. Not only will kids learn geography, they'll learn strategy and planning. We all love to play it, it's fun for adults as well children. It was one of their favorite Christmas presents. Would highly recommend this. We plan on getting some of the other continents eventually.
