This book actually can be read in 10 minutes. The information is very thin. If you've ever fished Florida's inshore area, you'll learn nothing new here. I was hoping for something specific to Snook that might be insightful or new. It wasn't there. And it's not like I'm some great fisherman either. I've never caught a snook but I could have already told you most of these things. If you've never fished before or perhaps very little, maybe worth your while. Even then, there's not much here.

The 10 minute Snook Book is the way to go for a no nonsense factual approach to catching snook. The tips are great for other species too! The Blue Marlin Chronicles strongly recommends this book.

A new Fl. resident and never heard of "snook" until I went to get my fishing license.I asked for a short, easy to read book on the subject and am pleasently surprised.I would recomend this book to everyone! A guide to the enjoyment and sport of fishing for Snook! Mr. McLean really cares about the fish and water of Florida.

I re-read this beauty, and was pleased to be reminded of the many straightforward gems of information that pepper the pages. It is accurate, and with snook populations at risk, the advice for catch and release is timeless. Bend down the barbs, and hang on for a spectacular thrill!

I thought I knew Snook, but McLean is the King of Snook! I'm just a Piker. Great info for fishing fans and newbies to Florida fish.

Exactly what it claims to be. Short and sweet - more of a "guide" than a "book", actually. If you're looking for a thorough accounting of the sport, this isn't it. But if you want a straightforward "how-to" that will help you catch more snook, it passes with flying colors.
