These have fit my little guy for a long time and they still look great! I bought them thinking that they were a good deal and I would end up throwing them away after a few months. They have lasted through the spit up stage, the learning to eat cereal stage, and now the real food stage (spaghetti, etc). I spray them before I throw them in the wash and they look great!! Also, I love that the neck is large enough that they still fit at 14 months. They are absorbent and comfy. There is no plastic, but it hasn't been a problem and I like that I can use the back to wipe the food off of his face and hands after he eats.
