This review is from: 10 Pack Box CFL 13W Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb 60W (Electronics)
About three to four years ago we converted the house lighting (inside, outside and garage) to compact fluorescent bulbs. The only remaining incandescent lights are one which is run by a dimmer switch and two that are in the refrigerator. We're rather pleased with this conversion. I can't notice the change in the electric bill because there have been too many other changes to keep track of. Some of the compact fluorescent bulbs are now starting to burn out and I'm beginning to doubt that they last ten times longer than the old-fashioned bulbs, but I have no statistical proof. My impression is that almost all of these bulbs are made by the same company inasmuch as all the new ones I've bought and all the burned out ones put in service years ago are Feit Electric.
In any case, there's a need from time to time to replace the compact fluorescent bulbs. If you buy them individually, they're rather expensive. So we bought this 10-pack of 60W and a 6-pack of 100W replacement bulbs. The cost per bulb is way below that of purchasing individual bulbs. Gary Peterson
