My 10 year old son got this from "Santa" even though he keeps thanking me "So much!" for it....

He says he thinks it's "really cool." He says he likes how it steers.

It is really fast!! and turns unbelievably like no car ever would or could!! I am absolutely amazed at the preciseness of the turning ability. You can be up so close you'd think you're going to crash and suddenly the Speedracer can turn to miss the crash. It really has to be seen to be believed. The speed also is amazing. The lights in front and back work. This RC car is satisfying in every way. Next, we are going to buy one of the opponent cars or Racer X so he has someone to race against. Thanks JADA!!

Our grandson really loves this toy. It works great and if very fast. Teaches good reaction time. He has spent countless hours playing with this toy. It's a good product and fun.

xmas for my 5 year old grandson. He loves it and is excited about how "fast it goes" and how easily he can handle the remote.

Great gift

The reviews we read spoke to quick response, sharp turns, and lots of fun. It is all that, however, be advised that there is no variable control: It is full speed forward, or back. And turning is full left, full right, or center. For my 8-year-old son, he doesn't care and LOVES playing with it. The front tips, although pointy, are made of rubber so bumping into walls damages neither the car nor the wall. So, what were the issues? The remote control antenna did not screw it. I have taped it into place, and with electrical contact, it works fine. But that was a concern on Christmas Eve! Battery life is sufficient, but not breath taking. Overall, I am glad I bought this product for the joy it brings my son. And the price was not a bad value.

After reading inumerable reviews about other remote control cars that had disappointed their purchasers, I bought this one on the strength of the few reviews on Amazon. Other than getting scratched up immediately from my son's smashing it against the house and curb, it seems to be holding up well. It is big and FAST and easy to maneuver. He is enjoying it immensely. I gave it to him with the Speed Racer DVD set and overall, of his 20+ Christmas gifts, it is probably the best. Am very, very happy with it. Was well worth the money.

Very durable, nice details, the only thing missing is suspension on the wheels and a faster motor. Overall is a very good product but recomended for people over 13 years old.

Great looking car and appears to be well built. However the transmitter receiver system falls SHORT. You have to run next to car in order to stay within range, otherwise you go out of range. Its unfortunate, due to the fact that the car has plenty of power and looks great.

Very fast, very durable, and very cool, this RC car is top notch. The front and back parts of the car are made of rubber so if it is accidentally crashed into a wall, it helps reduce damage on the car. It also is pretty fast, and it burns rubber (on tile and cement) when you make it go forward, mocking real life race cars. It's also very easy to maneuver and it is not a small little RC car at all, it's actually pretty big. This was a perfect birthday gift for my 5 year old brother, and he loves it!

Very awesome car an to drive its has been great RC to own iv always raced RC cars and for stock race car of speed racer this is the best one for the price and handles very great cant go wrong in this RC any one with RC knowledge can drive this one turning very good an revers is great lights up looks awesome in the dark don't let tho other comments scare you off from this car very good shipping on it very fast.1:10 Remote Control Speed Racer

This ended up being a big deal for my son... the 'pokey car' was at the top of his list. The one thing you have to assemble is to put the antennae inside the controller by screwing it in. I couldn't get it done due to the connector inside the controller being off center a tiny bit. This required me to disassemble the controller (not easy) and bend it back into place. Got lucky it didn't break... after that, so far so good. Probably just a one-off issue.
