Sorry the lighting sucks. I used my phone to film it.

I don't know how someone can complain about a little "noise" as a plastic $3.99 turntable does its job. Of course it can't be silent as metal parts might be. Of course, the company can't "fix it" for you. Come on ... it works! And in everyday life are you really going to notice that sound. If you want something very quiet, go pay $20 for it and maybe it will be, but for me, I can't imagine a life where it would ever, ever matter. it's a great product and for once, you can pay a great reasonable price, what something is worth to you and it works! I love it!

Needed a turntable to be able to rotate my monitor. This worked great and for $3.99, it's a real value. Yep, it's plastic, it makes some noise as turns, but it's very functional - did I say it was $3.99?

I ordered the Rotating Turntable - Lazy Susan to use in my new overhead kitchen cabinets. I had bought some other brand that was too large to fit inside the cabinet and still allow the door to close. The 10" turntable fit and allowed the door to close with space to spare.
That was the end of the good news. First, they would not rotate easily. As I found out later (another story, later) the bearings inside were made of plastic and would not rotate without sliding across the shelf. I was using them for spices, etc. and that was not heavy enough to keep the turntable in place on the shelf when you press against it to turn it. I think that with more weight on the turntable it may have stayed in place and turned more easily. They are rated for up to 65 lbs. but I'll bet if they carried that much weight the bearings would start to wear and would have become unround.
The second problem was that the turntables were slightly humped in the middle and did not have a lip around the edge, so the spice bottles would slide off of the edge when you could get the shelf to rotate. That didn't work for me.
So, I took them out of the cabinet and one of them got left on top of a toaster oven. Within minutes it had melted and warped until when I picked it up it fell apart and the little plastic balls inside came falling out onto the floor. That one was ruined.
I am going to try to use the others for paint and other things like that in my shop. That might work unless the paint leaks onto the shelf and melts it.
Even though the turntables were half the cost of the others that I bought they were less than half as good in quality.
They were just one step above useless to me.

Yep, there are reviews knocking the product for its plastic build. And, when free rotating, it does make a little squeak, though not much. These are impressions one might form viewing the turntable out of the box.

However, now that it's a part of my work area, it performs much better than a $3.99 tool, much better than would would expect.

We have some shelving (deep shelves, lots of room), dedicated as a pantry in our basement. Loose toiletry items, such as shampoos, razors, creams, astringent, etc, rest atop a re-purposed round table top, which is supported by this turntable.

This little work horse spins smoothly and makes no noise at all. Now, instead of moving boxes to get at stuff, we just spin the shelf and get what we need.

No hassles, it just works.

"It's very noisy and does not rotate smoothly. Wanted to return it, I never return anything, but the company Fix Find specified that it be returned exactly as it came, with a plastic wrapper over it which you must remove to determine if it works. Plus they charge a restocking fee of 15%. The cost to ship it and then return it cost more then the item itself.

Rated for 65lbs Broke under 35lb test load. Rotation was very rough and very noisy. No one would ever buy this thing if they had a chance to test it in person first.

This item was purchased based on the reviews and specification listed on the Amazon site. It was to be used as a base for the Delonghi Lattissima Plus espresso machine- which weighs less than 14 lbs. There are several issues why we returned this item. Primarily, the item is supposed to support 65 LBS. However with just the machine (14 LBS) and its 30 oz of a full water container full (about 4 lbs), even at a total of 18 LBS this item could not spin freely. It was clearly under strain and did make an excessive grinding sound as stated in other buyer reviews. It seemed like it would fail 100% within a short period of use.

Additionally, the Amazon description failed to inform buyers that the product is not suitable for children and a 2nd warning that the turntable contains chemicals know to cause cancer. These warnings should be disclosed on the Amazon description.

Please note that I found the turntable does work for items less than 8 lbs, but it certainly does not work as promised. So now you can be an informed buyer.
