Even though I try to weed through my closet every few months, I really was never getting the results I wanted. Clutter literally stresses me out, so I downloaded this book to learn a few techniques. I was pleasantly surprised. The the whole "base zero" concept is such a positive experience. Only then can you really tackle the problem of clutter. I am recommending this book to my friends and anyone who just wants a simple step by step approach to getting your closet organized.

This is a great little guide that shows you how to declutter your wardrobe in only 10 steps. A guide like this is perfect for people (like me) who have a hard time getting started or are generally unorganized. This is not a long book...and for a subject like this I think that's a good thing. Think about it...to you really want to read a thick tome on organizing your wardrobe? Neither do I.

Being a nerdy, "literatti"-type, I find I always perform better when I've first read about the subject I plan to engage in. Yes, this includes - I admit with some embarrassment- closet clearing.
Fortunately this book is informative enough to be instructional, yet concise so as not to allow me the excuse of getting caught-up in reading, and ultimately off-track on my good intentions.
Perfect for those who know what is required of them, but just need that subtle nudge, and a reminder or two, to jump-start one's motivation.
A 20-minute read... followed by several hours work in the walk-in closet.... and I'm all set for Autumn & Winter. Its truly amazing how "light" one feels after a good de-cluttering... like a breath of sunshine & fresh-air. Thanks Ms. Foster!

The book helped me in how to organize and prioritize my wardrobe. It also helped me decide what would be best to have in my closet and not to have too much of certain items. It also helped me in letting go of items that I may have been holding onto when it was best to let go of them. Also giving items you no longer wear and give to friends or acquaintances may help them in some small way. EIther way it is best not to hold onto items you no longer need for whatever the reason unless they truly have a long lasting or beneficial meaning.

Most decluttering guides are full of fluff and vague advice. However, this guide breaks the process of organizing your closet down into 10 actionable steps that you can follow along and most importantly EXECUTE. By the time I finished this book (and took action after each step) my closet is already starting to look better!

Like another reviewer, when I finished reading the last page I asked myself "this is it?"

But, if nothing else this book got me motivated to start the task of reorganizing my closet. There are also some useful tips scattered throughout, however, most are common sense.

I'm anxious to start my closet project. It doesn't seem so overwhelming as I thought through the approach differently than before. I've held on to business clothes, and heels. I haven't worked in a year half, get rid of them all since I retired.

Thanks for a quick and fun read.
