I ordered these as a replacement for some Corelle that I had grown sick of. These are a really nice quality for the price, and remind me of the tableware at nice hotel cafes. They are a terrific size, and for this price would highly recommend them! They came tightly packed in a sturdy box that I will be keeping to repack in if I ever move.

I bought two sets each of the dishes and bowls because I was having a chili party and none of my dishes had decent matching bowls. I was nervous about my purchase because the price seemed pretty incredible. I was very happy with both the dishes and the bowls. They are a nice weight. The bowls could be a bit larger, but they served my purpose well, and will be perfect for ice cream or desert. I don't think the photo shows how nice they look in person.

They were so well packed, I decided to save all the packaging and put them back in for storage until the next event, or if I loan them out to my sister or mother. The amazing price was made even better by the Amazon 4-for-3 promotion that was going on. Now I have bowls and plates for 24 whenever I need them. I will mostly use them for buffet style parties. They came through the shipping and the dishwasher great and are ready for the next event.

The white ceramic bowls are a good buy except they are conical shaped and hold less than you think, but this can be a good thing. They do go in the microwave and dishwasher, but they heat up in the microwave - so be careful!

These plates arrived in plenty of time for Easter. A tinge of gray, rather than dazzingly white. Nonetheless, looked pretty good on the tablecloth. Very sturdy. Great for everyday and informal gatherings.

I wanted dishes that I could use to vacumn seal home made frozen dinners. These dishes are perfect. They are very sturdy. They go from freezer to microwave to dishwasher. I have not tried the oven, but they are supposed to be okay there too. I would definately recomend these. Also, they were packed very well.

Dishes came to my doorstep packed perfectly. Dishes are an off white. When they are stacked, some are a little misshapen; some with a flatter appearance than others. The coating on the dishes is a bit thin and sparse. The bottoms of the dishes, the ring that stands on the table, ISN'T COATED so when the dishes are stacked, they scratch the tops of one another. I have to place napkins between each plate to protect the dishes. I need the dishes because 2x a year, we have 30 guests or more for dinner. I'm not looking for fancy so these dishes are okay. Not 100% satisfied, BUT, I'm glad not to have to use paper OR to have to spend an insane amount of money. If I had "money to burn," I would not have kept these dishes and opted for a more expensive box.

TO add to this, I also ordered the bowls, direct from the seller, cooking.com. The bowls were to arrive the latest, Jan 13, and didn't come until the 18th after a few back and forth email conversations. Had I not emailed, it sounded like those bowls weren't going to get here for weeks! There were excuses, finger pointing to Amazon and questions directed at me. Frustrating experience. Won't order from cooking.com direct in the future!! By the way, the plates came from Amazon and arrived ON TIME!

Quality of the bowls should be mentioned. They were even more "scratchy" on the bottom that the dishes were! Lacked coating on the bottom ring. I place napkins between each stacked bowl to keep them from getting scratched. They are also on the smallish side.

The quality of the bowls was nice, however they are much shallower than they appear in the picture. I had to return the items since there was no way my teenage boys could use these for their morning cereal.

The bowls look ok, but aren't all uniform and round. The warping is visible individually, and the set doesn't stack well as a result of this problem. This is ok for my cheap everyday set for which I expect breakage, but others might not be as cool with it.

I bought these plates because I am slowly getting rid of all plastic in my house. (I know)I make all my son's food & freeze it so when I need fast meals I just grab it & heat & it's not from a box. These plates are great in the microwave they heat up a little but not as much as my other plates.

At $2 a bowl, this is a great value.

(?) Some reviewers complain about the size of the bowl, but the size is clearly marked in the product name. It doesn't take much effort to pull out a ruler to get a good idea how big a 6" bowl is. It's like buying a 5 foot tripod, then complaining that it's too short.

(+) My three kids use them every day for morning cereal and afternoon snacks. it works great for them. We've used them for several weeks now, no scratches, no dings, no problems with constant dishwasher use.

(-) I've given it 4 stars, because it is not a pure white, but an off white, light gray color. it doesn't perfectly match my mikasa set, but it's close enough that most people won't notice it.
