5.0 out of 5 stars fun plane
This is my first "ducted fan" airplane, I would suggest the "brushless motor" type for power, great fun and tricky to fly, a tad "under powered" in the brushed motor config.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointment of hidden facts
Imagine my son's disappointment on Christmas morning when he opened the box to discover the hidden facts about this remote controlled plane.

"Easy to assemble" failed to mention that assembly involves installing servo-motors for ailerons, elevators and nose gear (which aren't included in the kit and are, in fact, sold separately - hidden fact #1); that assembly...

Imagine my son's disappointment on Christmas morning when he opened the box to discover the hidden facts about this remote controlled plane.

"Easy to assemble" failed to mention that assembly involves installing servo-motors for ailerons, elevators and nose gear (which aren't included in the kit and are, in fact, sold separately - hidden fact #1); that assembly involves installing the radio receiver that controls those aileron, elevator and nose gear servos (also not included in the kit and sold separately - hidden fact #2); that assembly involves installing the electronic speed controller that controls the electric fan motors (also not included in the kit and sold separately - hidden fact #3); and that the hand-held radio remote control unit that controls everything is also not included and sold separately (hidden fact #4).

Now, since my son really wants the plane, he'll be waiting as I research all the electronic components to be purchased and figure out what the real cost is going to be!

Disappointed
