This book is one of the best Bible study books I have ever read. It is so practical,witty and inspiring. Our ladies' Bible class has had high attendance because of this book, and we all look forward to coming to class. I highly recommend this book to everyone. It can be done alone or in a group setting. It truly is a very powerful study that will be with you for years to come. You will see things in the Scriptures that you may have never noticed before, and then learn how it applies to your life.

Finally a book has been written that clearly outlines the process of discovering your potential and who you are in relation to God. This book is insightful and must reading for any on a spiritual quest to find meaning in their lives.

This book really helped me to live a more God-centered life in some really practical ways. A great book for Christian women to use for daily quiet times.

When the daily grind is getting to me and the husband and kids seem to be taking up more and more of my time, I often lose site of the goal of furthering my spiritual life. There is nothing like a woman's Bible Study group to get me back on track.

I just finished this study and I highly recommend it. It can be done as an individual study but I think the group study is more beneficial.

The book is very well organized. There are five requirements to becoming usable.<UL><LI>Accept the way God made you.<LI>Be Emptied of self to make room for God.<LI>Allow God to Cleanse you even if the process is painful.<LI>Be Filled and constantly refilled with the Living Water of the Holy Spirit.<LI>Pour Out your life in ministry as God directs.</LI></UL>

These requirements are explored in 10 Weeks. Each week is broken down into five daily studies, each taking from 15 to 20 minutes to complete. This structure made it easy to stay focused on the goal, and faithfully finish the entire 10 weeks.

At the back of the book are 10 cards with memory verses. This was very helpful because everyone was memorizing the same verse each week. This gave us incentive to memorize but no one was embarrassed if they couldn't remember the verse.

There are questions at the end of each daily study to stimulate thinking and discussion.

Also included are forms for prayer requests and a prayer log.

A Leaders guide is located at the back of the book and makes it easier for the group leader to guide discussions.

It was a tough 10 week journey. Each day's study involved some personal and probing questions. They forced me to face problems that I had tucked away in a corner of my mind - labeled unimportant. Each day's study gave me a lot to think about throughout the day. Ms. Partow's friendly writing style made this 10 weeks a journey of love because it was clear that she had already been there and dealt with similar struggles. She showed the insight that comes from experience.

The women of my church are using Donna's book for a retreat during the fall. As they prepare, the 5 presenters are completing the 10-week journey. Each woman will address one of the Five Requirements for Becoming A Vessel God Can Use. As the coordinator of the retreat, I am also completing this journey. We are being blessed tremendously and it is an enjoyable journey. I complete several lessons each day. I like it because it is concise yet so challenging that the time required to complete is easily spent. I thank God for using Donna as a vessel of ministry to Christian women.

Excellent! Excellent! I love this book. It is perfect for individual bible study. It takes just a few minutes to do the reading but it always takes on a whole new outlook on life afterwards. I can't wait to start another of her books.

Becoming A Vessel...is one of the better women's Bible Studies I have done. So much so that I am going to facilitate it in our women's Bible Study class at church. Many life applications in this study. Very practical. What I like most about Partow's work is that she is honest and real. She does not sugar-coat or mince words. If you are looking for a study that will tell you everything about you is okay, don't go to this one. She sets the table. It's up to you to eat what you need. I have completed at least 3 more of her studies and she is pretty consistent throughout. Highly recommend her studies...especially for the novice Bible Study student.

This has been an awesome book to use in our new ladies bible study. This is good for any age woman and it hasn't mattered how long one has been a christian.

I would suggest it for anyone.

I love this book and highly recommend it! I am always giving my copy away and buying another...it's that good. Take the messages to heart and act on them! Donna writes with such transparency and with practicality. I first read this book several summers ago...in a small women's study. I had little experience with being used by God prior to this. Then, this book and I was on my way .....I haven't stopped leading studies since! (By God's grace!) Without hesitation, I can say you will see growth, love, openness and life changes in the women in your group if you choose this book as your study.

This book became like a diary to me. I still go back through and reread my answers and see my growth through the book. It put a lot of things in perspective, drew me closer to God, and changed me from the inside out. I've since recommeded it to other women and am eager to work through some more of Donna Partow's books.
