5.0 out of 5 stars Great Stuff
It's totally unfair to have this album reviewed with only one star, and for this kind of misleading review(s) it would be best to say nothing at all. In my opinion, it truly deserves all 5 stars since it's totally perfect and delightful with some of Ronan Keating's best songs during his 10 years career. 3.0 out of 5 stars Ronan Does His Best - But Results are Rather Bland
I like Ronan Keating for the fact that he is a very average singer but makes the best of what he has..!!! He is good at 'middle of the road ' pop music, that does not put any great demand on the vocal chords...There are some good pop tunes here, like 'Life is A Rollercoaster', 'Lovin' Each day', and some nice ballads like 'Last Thing on My Mind' (with Leanne Rimes) and...

In my opinion, it truly deserves all 5 stars since it's totally perfect and delightful with some of Ronan Keating's best songs during his 10 years career. Also, he is a very talented singer in his twenties with lots of experience and most importantly a deep and unforgettable voice, who hopefully will continue to delight us with more of his exquisite music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love Ro, but a little heavy on the covers, March 7, 2005

Still waiting for him to make it over here. I have all his CDs and many of the singles and this is a great addition. Pick up this disc, it is a great intro to this artist, then pick up his second CD, Destination, which is still one of my all time favorite albums.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Collection, July 15, 2006
This review is from: 10 Years of Hits (Audio CD)
I liked a lot of these songs. Ronan's music is not for people who hate pop or ballads, (although I do but I still love his music...not sure why). Ronan has a great tone to his voice, but never really seems to have strength. Not sure why, neither he does not have strong pipes but more likely is seems he holds back to give his music a soft love song sound. The only problem with this CD is a few of his best songs were not hits, so they are not on this CD. She Believes (in me) is the best song on this CD by far. The Long Goodbye is also a great Ronan style balled. Its so weird that I like his music because I only like Hip-Hop and R&B. Maybe his music is just so good that I like it regardless of its genre.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ronan without the boy band, September 21, 2005
This review is from: 10 Years of Hits (Audio CD)
Some songs on this CD are great, others so-so. But, if you like Brit Pop and are tired of Robby Williams, Ronan is yer man!

Good Points:

So many great songs on here, most of which have been top ten singles.

Bad Points:

It's hard to fault an album of such quality pop songs.

General Comments:

Ronan Keating, 10 Years Of Hits - Great new album from Ronan Keating, hard to believe he's been in music for 10 years now. So many hit records to his name, both solo and with Boyzone. He's included three songs from that early part of his career which have been re-recorded especially for this album, one of them, Father & Son, has been recorded as a duet with Cat Stevens. All his single hits are here, together with his latest single, I Hope You Dance. There's also a brand new song called Somebody Else. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes classy pop.

What a wonderful greatest hits album. It's great to have everything on one cd. From the first hit, - When you say nothing at all to his most recent - I hope you dance, Ronan continues to amaze. One suprise, that Turn it on again didn't make the cut. If you love Ronan, order it today it will never be out of your player.

5.0 out of 5 stars The title speaks for itself., November 22, 2005
This review is from: 10 Years of Hits (Audio CD)
As the title of the album suggests, some great songs are now together in one album. I must confess that I was not very familiar with Ronan's songs until I buy this CD. And now I realized how talented he is. He has a great voice and great lyrics. This is the kind of CD that you put on the cd player and listed to the songs from 1 to 17 (the brazilian album has 1 extra song). Enjoy it!

I was not totally familiar with this artist, but had heard one of the songs from the CD on the soundtrack of a movie. I have been totally satisfied with every song on this CD. It is great listening!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Very New Ronan Keating Fan Speaks Up, July 2, 2005

I have just listened to Ronan's collection and frankly all I have to say to the nay-sayers is: Get a life; this guy is good (and a hottie to boot!) So what is the matter with covers, particularly if they are done with style and grace. And these certainy were. I actually prefer his version of "If Tomorrow Never Comes" to The Garth's and that is quite an encomium. I have only one fault to find with Ronan and that is that he won't come over here and entertain us. He and Richard Marx are the two class acts left and it would be such a pleasure to hear those voices blended in unison.
All in all I think it would be fair to say that this is a very good album, particularly for easy listening; one you would pop into the CD player in the car when taking a drive. Bring us some more good stuff, Ronan.
