Shannon Grady proves, with the release of this album, that his writing isn't a fluke. The songs are all well done and meaningful. The sound design is vastly improved from his first album. The songs are sonically more complex with out becoming over produced. I found the sound to be more intimate and interesting. My Way and Falling Hard are both excellent songs that shows this improvement in musical range.

I would like to hear Shannon rock out. I think he has the range and the quality to power his way though a song or two. He is known for his softly sung and sometimes almost spoken lyrics. He give each song a closely personal feel. The intensity can sometimes bubble under the surface.

There are a couple issues that kept this album from a full five stars. Shannon sometimes sings so quietly that I found that he had issues tuning. The message and the audio quality certainly make up for this but music this personal needs that extra care to keep everything on the same level all the time.

The album is more advanced than his first album in tone and in quality which makes it a worthy addition. I hope Shannon continues expanding his catalog and creating music this personal and listenable.
