If you have never used a facial sponge before, you have no idea what you have been missing out on!
Pure soul konjac facial sponges are amazing for exfoliating while deep cleaning and removing any toxins and impurities from your skin. After the first time you use it you will have a glow that you haven't seen since you were in your early 20's!
Your skin will look so much brighter, and you can use this everyday because even though it does all of that it is still super soft. The natural fibers of the sponge is wet gently massage your skin, and in doing that it stimulates your blood flow.. That's what helps to talk so bye and that is what encourages your skin to renew itself while balancing your pH.
The first time that I used any sponges on my face that we're like this, I was a little afraid, especially since the first one I used had charcoal. I had never heard of anybody using charcoal on their face so let me tell you that it is not scary, it will help your skin, your blackheads will dissipate, and the bamboo charcoal that contains the activated carbon and minerals is what will help clean and absorb the nasty stuff that you do not want on your face. There is no other way for me to say how else to charcoal works, except for that.
I will keep mine in the refrigerator after I use it, because it helps to extend the life of it.
But all you have to do is soak your sponge in the water, I actually just hold it in my hand when I'm in the shower, and rub it in a circular motion on your face. After you're done you just rinse it out and not squeeze it, but press it in between your hands. And then you hang it to dry.

When I first took this sponge out of the box I was worried I wouldn't like how it would feel on my face. I was horribly wrong, because I love this konjac sponge!!
Let me start off by saying I use *sponges* - *exfoliating cloths/sponges* all the time! I have really dry skin that peels often around my nose. I was using my exfoliating cloth almost everyday and the normal parts of my face *that wasn't dry and peeling* was feeling sore from me exfoliating so often. When I would use just a washcloth I could not get all of the dry skin off so I have been stuck on how to remedy my problem.
Once I took the konjac sponge out of the package I placed it in a dish of water. I noticed it was starting to get bigger so I took it out and squeezed it a couple times to soften it completely. When it was fully softened I put a little face cleanser on the sponge, and proceeded to apply to my face in circular motions. This sponge is SO SOFT! I was so sure that none of the dry skin would come off but the sponge removed it ALL! Gently, without force..!! I rinse the sponge completely out and hang dry it. This is certainly my favorite sponge now! I hang dry this on the outside of my water heater, I found it completely dries within a few hours this way. I was provided a sample for evaluation and review.

The Konjac sponge was received for free in exchange for a review but I will only provide my honest opinion. If this type of review isn't your cup of tea, please feel free to pass this up.
This was my first time using a Konjac sponge so I was both amused and intrigued with it. It's very lightweight and felt hard as a rock when I first pulled it out from the box. It soaked up pretty quickly in a few minutes under cold water and softened up quite nicely. The size expanded from smaller than the box it came in to somewhat larger than it. When it dries, it reverts back to the smaller size. It does also look kind of creepy though staring at it close up. Haha.
The sponge felt fairly nice against my skin. It's not difficult to hold and it moves across the face easily. It does have a slightly rough texture so I use very light circular motions. It's still gentle enough so it was pleasant to use. I find it quite nice for manual exfoliation and for removing dead or flaky skin. I would honestly prefer this over exfoliating type scrubs with many ingredients since those tend to leave my skin flaky and peeling. The normal wash cloth I use has never been this effective.
I've tried putting a foaming cleanser and a cream type cleaner (on separate occasions) on the sponge prior to use and I find that the sponge somewhat soaks it up. It's definitely better to apply the cleanser to your face and then go from there. I think the sponge cleans well without any cleanser as well. My face isn't as dry and tight after cleansing when compared to using a wash cloth. I don't wear make-up so I can't really say if the sponge is useful for that. My skin has been feeling softer lately so I'm really happy.Read more ›
