5.0 out of 5 stars Not sure why people are complaining.
Customer Video Review     Length:: 0:41 Mins
In this video I fit a single disc CD, a double disc CD and a DVD in different envelopes. These are a pretty solid and inexpensive investment for anyone to ship media in.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not great.
These are pretty typical bubble mailers, but for one exception.. The mouth on them is not big enough, making it difficult to get a CD/DVD into it within its hard plastic case (slim would work ok) without tearing the packaging or cracking the case.

All in all, an okay mailer, but not one that I would use for important disc-based media.

2.0 out of 5 stars Inconsistent, October 23, 2011

These are great little padded mailers ... if you're lucky enough to get a properly sized batch of them. When I first started using them, I couldn't understand all the negative reviews. Then I ordered a second box of 100 and couldn't understand why the same items no longer fit in them! I'm guessing there's at least a 1/2" difference in the internal width of the new ones, and that makes a world of difference. That's really sloppy quality control. I won't be ordering these again.

1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading description, terrible quality, even worse return policy, November 14, 2011
This review is from: 100 - #0 - 6x10 POLY BUBBLE MAILERS PADDED ENVELOPES (Office Product)
These bubble mailers are thinner than I realized was possible for anything designed to serve a protective function. I'm not surprised that another reviewer said that writing on the envelope with a sharpee is another pressure to break through the envelope. The description of these envelopes as "cushioning" or in any way protective is incredibly misleading. This is no better than sending your items in a paper envelope.

The quality of the items is, perhaps, not that surprising given how incredibly inexpensive they are. However, their return policy is ridiculous. I reported that the item is not as described and of terrible quality. The seller changed the category of return to "solved a technical problem," likely to look better to Amazon. They then reported that their return policy is to refund the price of the item, less the cost of them shipping it to me. And, to return the item, I would have to pay to ship it to them. Luckily, this item has free shipping but the cost of returning it to them at the U.S. Post office is $16.87 for an item that cost me $16.99 to purchase. If you factor in my time to stand in line or print out a label, I would lose money on the deal. I have opened an amazon guarantee claim on the item to resolve the issue. These envelopes are completely worthless to me and I hope that Amazon can fix the issue and force the seller to offer me a prepaid return label. Otherwise, I guess I'll just have to throw them out and call this purchase a complete waste of my time and money.

Oh.. I should also mention time. I ordered these envelopes on November 3rd and didn't pay attention to the expected shipping date. I should have, since the estimated arrival date on amazon was November 10th-November 29th. I'm not sure what type of shipping they use that could require more than 20 days to make it from NY to FL but that's crazy. Luckily, they arrived after "only" 9 days and I could start the attempt to return them more quickly than I initially feared.

I was skeptical when ordering this item because the price was so reasonable. When I received them I was pleasantly surprised. The product is excellent. I use them almost daily.

1.0 out of 5 stars These are Now Too Small for DVD's, January 21, 2012

This review is from: 100 - #0 - 6x10 POLY BUBBLE MAILERS PADDED ENVELOPES (Office Product)
If you were ordering these size #0 mailers from Valuemailers because they were larger and fit the DVD size and larger 27mm game cases...then you better order from someone else..because they have changed them and they are now much smaller and of much poorer quality. Now I have orders and no way to mail them. I guess they think it's worth losing customers to save a penny here and there.

These padded envelopes are great. I use them for shipping books and DVDs and think they are ideal. They are water resistant, have enough padding to protect the contents, and seal nicely at the top. If you are shipping larger DVDs, like special editions or full TV seasons they can get a little tight, but they still work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great bubble mailers, December 23, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 100 - #0 - 6x10 POLY BUBBLE MAILERS PADDED ENVELOPES (Office Product)
These mailers are good value. Sturdy, adequately protects the items I ship, and very sticky seals. I only wish this product was sold in larger quantities such as 250 or 500. Oh, and buy from "propackagingsupply" fulfilled by Amazon. I've bought this about 3 times in the past, and the quality was consistent. Two other times I mistakenly ordered from a different seller (valuemailers) and the sides of those mailers were barely sealed together-- sometimes resulting in them splitting open after placing the items to mail inside (not acceptable for this to happen during postal transit!), so I had to tape them to reinforce. Those would probably work for people who need a bigger opening on their mailers but don't mind reinforcing the sides with tape. The propackagingsupply mailers are also a bit thicker, it appears.. the plastic is sturdy enough that it isn't pierced when written on (unlike the other mentioned mailers).

Not too shabby at all for the price! These are a wee lower in quality than standard bubble mailers, but they WORK well and also have the self-adhesive strip on the flap. Overall, this product is GREAT for the value.

HOWEVER, shiping took FOREVER.

I fit a standard sized brochure, DVD, and picture in 100 of these mailers. They are definitely pretty thin though. It's more of a plastic then paper mailer. I also bought #0 6.5" x 10 KRAFT BUBBLE MAILERS PADDED ENVELOPES, 250 ct. and can say the manila mailers are definitely stronger. I'd go with those.
