WE'RE IN THE MONEY
When money talks, it says baby's name.
WHEN
before/after baby is born
HOW
Everyone needs a pencil and dollar bill to make this run for the money. Announce the names that mom has chosen for the different sexes for her little dividend, such as "Heather" if it's a girl and "Robbie" if it's a boy. And spell out the names.
The first money manager to find and circle all the letters in both names on their bill wins the game. There are many letters on the front and back of the bill. The only rule is that letters can be used only once (for example, two different "e's" should be circled to spell Heather). Since time is money, tell everybody to start circling!
VARIATION/TIPS
* While the dollar bill has most letters of the alphabet, it doesn't have all of them. Check beforehand that both names can be found on the bill. (See more about this in the last variation.)
* If the baby's name hasn't been decided on, have people seek out mom and/or dad's names or the names of any other special person in baby's life, such as grandma or grandpa.
* Another twist on this money madness: players race to be the first person to circle all the letters of their own first and last name on the bill. Depending on the series of the bill, the signatures will vary, meaning it's possible to find some letters (such as "J") on one bill and not others. Suggest to players they might want to empty their pockets or pass the buck to find the bill with the letter they need.

What A Great Idea For A Book!,
This review is from: 100+ Baby Shower Games (100+ series) (Paperback)
In this delightful book we are treated to over 100 fun filled games that may be played at a Baby Shower. I was really surprised that there would be so many and so many different variations to each one, who would have ever thought?
Author Joan Wai breaks down the games into different categories, such as, Sit Down Games, Active Games, and Memory Word Games, to name just a few. Quick reference and easy to follow instructions are at your finger tips taking the stress out of game preparation. Excellent! This is a great book for anyone wanting to put some fun into the next baby shower, or party for that matter, as I feel many of these games could be adopted to fit other occasions. What a terrific idea. This one gets a big thumbs up. A real keeper.

Well worth the price to have over 100 games right at your fingertips. I used the book to choose games and activities for a co-ed baby shower in the evening. Everyone had a great time because they all got to participate. Thank you Joan Wai for keeping the mother-to-be and everyone else at the party entertained.

I am not the type who needs organizational help when planning a party, so this was great for just getting to the games. There are so many, no matter what type of baby shower you're throwing, you'll be sure to find what you're looking for.
