E. DAN KLEPPER is an author, media artist, and outdoors enthusiast. He recently completed writing and photographing "100 Classic Hikes in Texas" (The Mountaineers Books, 2009), a hiking guide of the Lone Star state. Klepper is a frequent contributor to Texas Highways, Texas Parks & Wildlife Magazine, and texaswildnetwork.com, and is currently working on Klepper + Klepper ~ 50 Years in the Texas Outdoors (Texas A&M University Press, 2012), a book of essays and photographs that combines his work with that of his late father's - a consummate Texas outdoorsman and journalist.
