Not only are the monsters truly great, but their presentation in this book is superb! This book isn't read, it's experienced. 100 Days of Monsters is source of enjoyment and inspiration for me. If you are remotely interested in this book, buy it!

Once upon a time, a control enthusiast with a pen drew himself a monster--and the rest is history.

You can test-flight this book at Bucher's site, [...] where all 200 of the monsters he eventually released still live--going to their jobs, having their babies, reading and writing and dancing and taking over the world--doing all the things monsters do. I encourage you to do so, and then buy this book.

Someday someone you are talking to will rail against the web, talk about all the terrible things on it, all the bad people. Then you can point to 100 Days of Monsters, and you can say, "Things like THIS--people from all over the world sharing a creative moment, interacting to make something beautiful and funny and playful--how would you make something like THIS happen, if not for the internet?" And if not for, it goes without saying, Stefan G. Bucher and his band of authors.

I came to the game too late to be part of the book--but oh, it was a lovely thing to have my child come downstairs every morning and say, "Mom! Did you monster yet?"

What a wonderful time. I thank you, Stefan. You did good. You didn't just talk the talk, you walked the walk. You followed your heart, and it shows. :)

really fun and great book...only thing I don't understand is why some of the files I can't open...will help in teaching the concept of thinking outside the box and problem solving, since you cant erase ink! Very captivating.

What a bargain for any creative mind. I really think this is so fun
for almost any age...you ARE creating with INK so use your judgement
on the appropriate age group. I have had fun with it and would suggest
this to anyone who loves art and just wants to have some mindless fun
making some cute little monsters!

This book is phenomenal! Stefan Bucher's work is so creative and funny. I love it! I look at this book every day before I go in to work in the morning. It is so creative, and the DVD that comes with the book is really great too! I would recommend this book to anyone inspired by the creativity of others, and to anyone who just enjoys a good laugh and awesome drawings!! Also, the comments from real message boards that are included in some pages of the book are really interesting too! It's great to see that an artist can be so appreciative of the opinions of the public, and actually use them in his book.
