5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Game! August 6, 2012

This is a really good game where you have to use your thinking skills to finish all the levels. It requires a lot patience and thinking, so of you don't like either, this game is not for you. And for those people saying that this game is horrible for not having instructions, its not suppose to have instructions. You are supposed to figure it out yourself!

You have to try more than once to beat a floor level, but it is good for using your common sence and thinking.

4.0 out of 5 stars Novel puzzle game with a few flaws August 6, 2012
Verified Purchase
This game is interesting, has unique puzzles, and it technically works. But there are a few key flaws that makes the game quite frustrating.

First, as others have said, there are no instructions. You start the game staring at a door and then press the button to go up. I suppose they are trying to hint at what is essentially the goal of every floor, to somehow find a way to open the door and move up to the next floor.

It would be nice if there were some instructions, though, that would give a hint as to what kinds of things to expect for solving the puzzles. At the very least they could say "This game uses the full range of functions on your device. Puzzles can require touch, tap, tilt, shake, different orientations, multiple finger gestures, etc." Many people have been frustrated at a very early level because they didn't realize the game uses the tilt sensors.

A hint feature would be nice. The game was designed with hints of some sort on each level to give the player a clue of what to do to solve the puzzle. However, these hints are often lacking or just confusing. I imagine much of the players, if not most, have resorted to using outside help to solve a puzzle they were stuck on (likely on many puzzles). If they player is just going to get the solution to the puzzle anyway, why not add a hint feature that can maybe point out something important or show the next piece of the puzzle? Every puzzle has multiple step anyway, so giving away one shouldn't hurt anything. Or, if the player has to use hints for every step of the puzzle, why should that matter? If they don't figure it out, they're just going to go to the cheat guide app anyway.

Sensitivity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this game! August 11, 2012
Verified Purchase
This is one of the few game apps. that really challenges your brain. You have to figure out what will make the elevator doors open...from moving a plant to finding the right numbers to turning your device upside down to playing the correct notes on a piano...and those are the easy ones. I didn't mind the fact that it didn't come with instructions or any written hints because in fact there are hints...but you have to look very carefully at the whole picture to figure them out and try a lot of different things-especially on the upper floors. If you are looking for a "quick fix" or haven't much patience than this game isn't for you...there is a guide out now that gives you all the answers but really what the heck fun is that?! I find it very satisfying when I finally figure out how to get those damn doors to open. There have been a few that I spent hours and hours on and a few that I got in 30 seconds ( there was one floor that I have no clue how I opened the doors) but some of them you can open within an hour of working your brain muscles...as long as there aren't any screaming children. So have fun and may the force be with you. ( Can you tell I'm working on the floor with the UFO and E.T.?)...GREAT GAME!...BTW...The graphics are wonderful on the Kindle Fire.

It is super fun AND challenging. But there are lots of ads. It's a great app and I would give five stars if there weren't so many ads.
