My family and I simply love this cute little book of spooks! It's definitely something that people of all ages can enjoy. I've simply put it out as a Halloween centerpiece and everyone that's picked it up has raved over it!

Very funny, and makes a great gift. I gave my original copy to my nana and she loved it. Now I'm ordering a second one for myself.

I really like it. But I think it was a bit too pricy. But it is wonderful. I would buy it as a gift for someone though. Maybe the reason I don't love it is because it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. But never less it is wonderful and I would put it in my bag if I didn't already have another book in it. But it has became the staple of my bedroom.

I got a copy of this from Quirk Books in exchange for an honest review. This is a very cute little book that is a fun and quick read. It would make a good gift or table top book for ghost lovers.

The book basically features a picture of a ghost on one page and then a description of the ghost on the adjoining page. For example there is an R2-D2 ghost, surprised ghost, pirate ghost etc.

There is a short foreword that is pretty funny about why the author decided to make this cute little guide to different types of ghost. The book is not at all scary but more cute and humorous.

The book is nicely put together with a cloth-like cover and nice thick paper. The drawings of the ghosts are funny and adorable. It is a very very quick read. It took me maybe 15 minutes tops to page through and read all the ghost types.

This is pretty much meant as a curiosity or gift. As mentioned above it is a fun book to set out on the coffee table so that guests can pick up something cute and funny to read. It's also a good book to pick up at a party and say "Oh, look at this ghost, that's so funny!"

Overall I enjoyed paging through this. There's not a ton of content here just cute/funny pictures of ghosts. Some of the pictures are very ironic in nature. The book is appropriate for all ages and I know my son (6 years old) got a kick out of looking through it. Recommended to those who like ghost humor, or cute little tabletop types of books.

100 Ghosts by Doogie Horner is a whimsical look at ghosts in cartoon format; the perfect book for fall as Halloween is just around the corner. Each page introduces the reader to another ghost; on one is the picture of the ghost while the facing page has the description or name.

Some of my favorites were a ghost as a lamp, an undercover cop, Marilyn Monroe and Charlie Brown, but in actuality, each page reveals a new take on ghosts that will have the reader smile or chuckle. This book is recommended for everyone; children will love it while adults will get enjoyment also.

This was a really cute book. From the cover to the pages, it is simple. I managed to read it in one sitting in under fifteen minutes. I am positive that it would be appropriate for all age groups to read. It is full of humor, and it features different characters from popular culture from the past and the present. I was surprised to see Grumpy Cat included, but it definitely made me giggle.

I first saw and read about this book on Tumblr and thought it was so cute. I decided buy it used and it just like new. This book is so funny, silly, and just refreshing to read. It has a different ghost on each page and a cute little caption. It will keep you smiling and perfect for around the Halloween time. I recommend it to anybody, kids would love this especially.

Do ghosts scare you? They may seem mysterious and frightening, but in this playful book of ghostly drawings, you may come to feel more comfortable, even chummy, with some of them. As the author explains in his introduction, “Ghosts are just like us! They get nervous at parties, love pizza, and sometimes fall asleep during long meetings.”||//100 Ghosts// is a fun little book of one hundred drawings envisioning the standard, bedsheet-with-two-holes ghost in various attitudes and situations. Each drawing has a (very) short caption to title it; for example, a picture of a ghost with the middle missing is titled, “Bikini”. Other ghosts: Topiary. Bond Villian. Undercover Cop. Nudist. Marylin Monroe (not the same). Cyclops (both Mythical and X-men). There is a funny, joyful humor to the book, and although some of the pictures seem a little stretched (like it was becoming difficult to make an even hundred), they are creative and entertaining. It is a great little book to make you smile and add a dash of fun to anyone's day.
I received a copy from the San Francisco Book Review in exchange for an honest review. The opinions are entirely my own.
