About the Author

Richard Fein is the Director of Placement at the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) School of Management. A career specialist for 18 years, he is widely recognized as a leading authority on developing the core career planning and job search skillswriting effective resumes and cover letters and conducting winning job interviews. He is author of five major career books on these subjects: 101 Dynamite Questions to Ask at Your Job Interview; 101 Quick Tips For a Dynamite Resume; 111 Dynamite Ways to Ace Your Job Interview; Cover Letters! Cover Letter! Cover Letters! and First Job. Richard has been a contributor to the Wall Street Journals Managing Your Career and a columnist for Employment Review Magazine. He is a frequent commentator on the job search process for both print and electronic media. He has appeared as a guest on more than 30 radio and television programs and has been quoted in newspapers as diverse as the Christian Science Monitor and the Idaho Statesman. Richard holds an MBA from Baruch College in New York, an MA in Political Science from the City University of New York, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
